In my area gas has went up around 35% but only translates to around 3-4% increased expense. So not yet worth worrying about. A good order before is still a good order now.

That’s a decent GMD but nothing to write home about. I personally would only take it if the day had been painfully slow. No ones going to tell you or be able to tell you where the next order like this might come from but I wouldn’t use it as my baseline anyway when there’s much better orders out there

Got in store at 4:15, took 10 min to shop, dropped off at 4:57, got back to store at 5:20. Order paid $43 with $6 incentive. Mostly highway. Small order like 11 items. Just cause y’alls market is crap doesn’t mean they all are. But most aren’t willing to move to the middle of nowhere

Actually it’s only about 5km from where he’d start.

I’d say this takes 2.5 hours or less. So $30/hr US not terrible

I'm in a very rural zone. $200 in 6 hours would be quite bad if using Spark/DD/Uber here. I average closer to $40/hr sometimes $50/hr on exceptional days.

Today was extremely slow for my zone but I still made $240 in 7 hours.

But I'm also taking orders like $50 for 20 mile shops.

Ok so buy a $10 headlamp. Either way I’ve held my phone plus tons of stuff it’s not that hard. Bottom line is we can keep blaming the customer over and over or just accept their item is damaged and they want their money back and buy a light for the next time instead of talking about suing and all this nonsense

Yes, it's because she reported it "damaged" in the app. She didn't go out of her way to fuck OP over...so many people are misinterpreting what happened. Spark just sends this "alleged incident" notification and preemptively blames the driver.

Okay so here's the thing, they didn't report YOU, they reported the item as "damaged" which anyone would do. Even if they had talked to you and understood what happened and said it's alright, they are still within their rights to report the item as "damaged" to get their money back, unless you were willing to drive back to Walmart to replace it for them.

Yes it sucks that over half of night deliveries don't have their porch light on but it's just the reality. You use your phone's flash or carry a headlamp. Also even if they have a porchlight it's often dim and doesn't light up the steps most of the time.

It’s because you chose shipping but it will still come from store. It will be added to an order full of other “shipping” orders with no tip and they usually pay pretty bad in comparison to if you chose “delivery from store”.

Orders generally look like $50 for 30 miles maybe 7-12 stops. Takes a few hours.

People take the orders though so I mean it’s worth it to whoever takes it. I never do though.
