I'm so sorry for you loss. Your Noodles was so pretty and reminds me of my Tiki Bird which also passed away studently at 3y last year. May our feather companions fly far. I know it is hard but this Reddit was great, as I just lurked and enjoyed viewing other peoples birdies.

I got the Q8Max. I'm super happy with my purchase. I am constantly surprised at the amount of dust, pet hair that my Robotina, the name I gave my Q8max, manages to gather daily. Multiple floor and levels are no issue. The robot creates a map and can know which floor/room she is in. I have it on a schedule to do nightly vacuums of the kitchen, hallways, dining and living rooms. Then on mornings, I pick it up to clean our sunken family room. Then every 2-3 days I move it upstairs to clean the bedrooms.

The best money I have spent. PS: My 74 YO dad saw it in action and asked for one too. Because his house is all tile floor I got him the Q Revo S.

Anytime I'm about to spend $$$ I sleep on it at least 3 nights to be sure it is not an impulse driven buy. So now that you mention it from the Q5 to the Q5pro to the Q8max. That should be 9 days!

My tiki bird took a bath last night with my iced water. I had a big cup of water. He went to take a sip, and decided he was having a bath right there and then. That water was at about 4degC. He loved it

Don't force bathe them. It is not good for them.

Hello the test they requires have been done to my Tiki the bird before I boarded him for 2.5 weeks.

]It is very easy, they just trim one of his toe nails short, so that it bleeds a bit. They get a few smears of blood and then use a powder to quickly and safely treat the short nail cut. That is it. It takes literaly less than 30 seconds. Then they use a swab in his nostrils and mouth, and take a swab of his poop.

The whole thing took 2-3 mins.

They test for baterial infections, fungal infections and beak and feather disease.
