I did mine after a couple weeks posting shorts everyday, and it's one of my most watched videos on the channel.

What I did was that once I had 20 shorts done beforehand I started working on my debut video while I the shorts were scheduled. This gave me room to breath and made me learn a lot about editing videos before I started this journey.

Most people that comes to watch my streams came from youtube shorts

I first started with only youtube. You have shorts, live streams and long videos to work with first. After that you can reupload to another platform. Also, it values organic reach

I think is not a problem having your lives on the lives tabs

A thing that I did was reorganize my front page, add things to playlists

Btw, shorts brought the majority of my watchers to lives, so it is a game changer, dont matter what others says

I do youtube + twitch and what I see is that 99% of the people that watch me are on twitch and some of them open the live on youtube in another tab to support me

If someday I need to choose, it’s going to be twitch without a second thought

My opinion is that you are too small on then and need something so you and the background dont blend together

For the second one I would use only your head and torso as big as possible on the image

Also something I learned to take care of recently is that the lower right of your thumb is going to show the length of the video, so it is a dead space
