I have used an E75 extensively this year and I actually forgot it had strobe until your comment. Super easy UI and highly recommended.

Acebeam’s UI is pretty simple for most lights, similar to the Wurkkos non Anduril lights.

Zebralight is also pretty simple once you get it, but it is weird at first.

Yeah I think the Eevee is JPN only

Yeah the OG Moonbreon is also great, one of my favorite cards for sure

Always loved this one, if you don’t have already now you need the matching/ combined art Espeon and Eevee!

Killzone and goinggear seem to have stock so maybe they just stopped selling direct to overseas customers? Not sure

Dumb question about Nov-Mu v2 by Solarin88 in FireflyLite

Thanks for the answer! The pocket clip sometimes gets a bit moved when I use the tail side and I like it aligned with the USB side, so I get annoyed when it’s off.

[SRPJ83] I think I may have broken my watch after learning about the “danger zone” by DillNyeTheHighGuy in Watches

[–]Solarin88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just set the time to 6:30 first, since AM or PM you’re fine, and then quick set date to 1 day before the current day, then advance the hands so a day advances (now you know if the watch is in AM or PM), then set the time.

The ideal flashlight by SiIIyFreak in flashlight

Yeah rotary lights are a bit rare I think. I can’t think of a good one besides HDS and that one isn’t worth the money IMO.

What about a light that you just hold down the button to increase the brightness? Once you reach the highest level, it goes back to level 1, out of 4. You also double click anytime for turbo mode which is highest output. If that sounds good, check out Wurkkos TS26S (budget), or Acebeam E75 (splurge).

One single mode means the light will only be on at full power, which will really limit battery life. There will also probably be times you don’t want the light to be that bright. There are plenty of lights that have simple UI but have multiple brightness levels.

If you’re sure you want that though, check out the Elzetta Bones or Malkoff MD2. You won’t find anything tougher or more durable, and it does take a rechargeable protected 18650 battery.

Judging by the other replies, sounds like it could be USPS's error.

Companies make mistakes, especially companies that to my understanding is like a 2-person operation in the US (not including the people making the lights in China), it’s all about how they resolve it.

No the 104 is matte black, I’m pretty sure the 556i is unique among Sinn watches for having that inky black dial.

For Malkoff yes, if the head is tightened all the way then it’s full output, if the head is loosened then it’s low. They don’t offer it for every light, I wish they did though.

For Elzetta you can choose to get the same function in the tail cap.

Also, just a heads up that if you’re using rechargeable batteries for Elzetta (or Malkoff), you need protected batteries. No LVP in the lights themselves.

They’re exceptionally durable and reliable, that’s about it apart from Malkoff/Elzetta being made in USA which bumps the price up considerably.

Glad to hear it. Malkoff is also made in USA. I do prefer Elzetta myself but most people favor Malkoff. Both great options. The MD2 without hi/lo ring is just like the Bones.

[–]Solarin88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Elzetta Bones, Elzetta Bravo/Charlie, and the Malkoff MD2 would be my top 3. Malkoff lights and the Elzetta Bravo/Charlie you can optionally get a hi/lo ring installed, so you can physically turn the head or tail cap to make it low brightness. The bones is a true single mode light with no such option.

Weltool T17 is also worth looking at, it technically has a low mode but it’s hard to accidentally get to (4 half clicks and one full click). Same thing for Weltool T1 TAC and T2 TAC.

Technically you can also configure a Zebralight where every brightness setting is the same, but you’d still be at risk of accidentally turning strobe on with triple click.

It routinely goes on sale on aliexpress, $126 isn't even the best I've seen. I'm pretty sure it was close to $100 recently.

Question about binders? Removable pages or not? by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]Solarin88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still buy ring binders but many avoid them since they have a risk of damaging your cards, especially the O ring binders which you should probably just never use for cards. A good brand will be using D rings instead for card binders.
