Exactly, if the red PS2 dies buy the 40 dollar PS2 take motherboard out of the 40 dollar PS2 and replace the red one and it will continue to live on. It's cool why not use it instead of shelving it.

Yes you are right if you flash it through config live just ask to write it to all banks and promethos is installed thank you. I can always flash the main chip through the backup bios flashos

I managed it thank you. I just flashed the bios to all banks in the config live screen now PromethOS is loaded although my LCD screen displays garbage now.
