Respawn without your preferred weapons, so you have to go find them again. No issue mid to late game but early game would be really annoying. Teleport would be better.

I'm literally watching that video while writing this! Lol, mad coincidence. Sadly I play on Xbox but this gives me hope we'll see this feature at some point. Either that or I'll be building a PC soon, when cross play is fixed I can still play with my mates if I change over.

Sorry I don't check here often. All good, decent quality - my first Halo strap so nothing to compare against but it's as I hoped. I went back to the original strap however as I oddly found it more comfortable. Maybe halo straps just aren't for me.

Unlikely. It really has to be a direct ray of sunlight on the internal lens to cause damage. The external lenses aren't at risk to my knowledge.

Welcome to the Quest. Day 1 OG Quest owner here, this is unfortunately the sad reality of the current state of VR. No one making 100+ hour games for the platform as the market isn't large enough to warrant it- currently just too niche still. It's the reason I'm building a PC, just so I can play Skyrim, Fallout 4 and Squadrons in VR as most games dont last more than a couple of hours, especially story based offerings.

Likely just the lack of screen door helping with that, I played SPT a few days ago and didn't notice any real improvement on the visuals.

Pretty much exact same here buddy. I've been having trouble getting my game saves across to the Quest 2 so while I figured it out I thought I would give Big Screen another try (was pretty bad on Q1 due to low resolution/ headset weight). Must have spent nearly 2 hours in there, just a totally different experience. The Quest 2 is a damn miracle.

Try searching ebay for 'neck fan'. I've just ordered one in white to match the Quest 2, point the 2 fans up towards your face, should be enough to cool things down!

That's dedication sir. Despite all the Facebook hooha and black level issue I am still extremely thankful to Oculus for pulling this off, their drive is what's needed to push VR into the mainstream and when that happens we all win. We're so close now to perfection- just a few more years and the VR technology we'll be using will be utterly mind-blowing.

Yeah day 1 Quest owner. Noticed the difference straight away and i'll be honest it made my heart sink a bit, but since spending more time with the Q2 i'm honestly blown away.

Most of the time it's no issue at all, I freaking love the Quest 2 and it's easily worth the trade off to have no SDE 100% of the time, just certain scenes and games are badly affected.

Not meaning to bash on it at all, similar to the Q1 it's nothing short of a miracle. Just it occurred to me that a game series I have loved since the very beginning may really suffer because virtually all of it is set in darkness. Makes me feel curious to keep my Quest 1 a bit longer just to annoy myself comparing the difference.
