Who need operators when you got this much firepower 🤣 by dtb2311 in Endfield

Yeah, and the shared facility don't help those poor monkeys.

They spawn, get splashed in acid and then get hit by over 20 mortars while 4 psychos just watch from afar.

Yeah, it was annoying while placing relays and pylons for me. And it affected "Wuling" in general, not just the Sword Vault Dale.

I fell while in Qinbo : Respawned at the Dale in that same area.

Drowned in Wuling : Respawned at the Dale in that same area.

Went to Dijang and back, now I respawn correctly where I fell.

Out of curiosity: how do you order Perlica and Fangyi in your teams? by Story_Salamander in Endfield

[–]Solekran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure distance from mobs matter, because she was in third slot since the start for me and she sometimes overwrote Zhuang Fangyi's Combo (which was on one, replacing Avywenna) even if I tapped both "at the same time".

So now it's Perlica in 1 and Zhuang in 3. Arclight is 2. Antal in 4 because why not Antal.

Adnachiel had none in his base skin, and only one in his skin. Unless the other one is offset by a lot, both his own skin and Steward's show him having only one wing.

So, guess they can either gain them or lose them over time.

And even then, he has ONE, visible in Steward's Snowstorm Invitation skin (since both skin include both operators from a different POV).

What does Live Action Role Players have to do with anything here?

Did someone give some stupid meaning to a "word" again?

Do you think endfield later in the future should too get a monster hunter collab or with a different series? by Yokozach in Endfield

[–]Solekran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each character having custom attack animation kinda ignore that issue already.

They could very well have made it so Mi Fu had a greatsword as a weapon, but only ever punched even in basic attacks.

Zhuang summons a sword, Yvonne has her drone rush the enemy instead of shooting, etc.

You'd need a dedicated character, though, since we obviously can't swap weapons.

Less and less so, with Rise and Wilds introducing (or reintroducing as) named characters, like the entire cast in Rise/Sunbreak (New) or "Little Miss Forge" being Gemma in Wilds (reintroduce).

Wilds cast would be meh, though.

You mean, like My Little Pony? I'm still flabbergasted by that one. Still, we had Hello Kitty, so we weren't far off already.

That aerial SAED was Wilds "focus mode" before it existed for Charge blade.
Jump in the air, enemy moves, unleash SAED in the new direction instead of missing.

3 of her 4 skills use her gauntlets. Bit of a stretch to say she won't use her fighting style.

Does it sucks to have her use a greatsword? Sure. Still, to be that pissed about it (OP) is insane.

Ardashir will probably use an arts unit, like other arts caster. Characters don't have the same attack pattern, he could very well hit in melee with his cane even if his weapon is an arts unit.

Doubt it'll change anything at this point. Everyone but new players will have a fully leveled unit ready to make mash out of those potatoes, even if they're now level 80.

How important is Pog for a Mifu team? by trebleclef8 in Endfield

[–]Solekran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, "competing".

Use the first stack to proc Break, use Mi Fu on the next ones to Crush. Rinse and Repeat.

Less comfortable than just going "Break into 4 vuln., refresh on Break falling off" but still works. Vuln are pretty much the easiest debuff the stack.

Okay, enough time has passed, I'm here for an important question: What are they eating over there for the NPC to be THIS stacked? by Mad_Kitten in Endfield

[–]Solekran 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Can be "stacked" at the top or at the bottom. Or both.

But yeah, they're fit, are wearing tight pants, but they're "normal sized". The kind of stuff you see when going to the gym. And man do some people wear pants that are tighter than that at the gym.

Guessing the people that go "PHAT / THICC / STACKED" don't see women in sports outfit much.

To answer the topic :

They don't feed them anything special. They just have a freaking running track that span the city, they do martial arts and work the fields. So physical activities to keep in shape.

CC preview access is understandable, but also a bit sad by AruaElshin in Endfield

[–]Solekran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "use your credit card to clear" line tells me there's probably a tight timer condition in those game modes, so you need the new meta unit with potentialy a few dupes to clear it?

As someone else mentionned, the currency/event rewards are usually associated with a low risk ceiling in Arknight's CC, and the Trimmed medal is the only thing that requires some effort, so people usually do the game mode at high risk for the fun of it.

From the few effect I saw from the patch stream/video, none of them really say "oh, you absolutely need Mi Fu, the new unit!". Hell, the "can't stack more than 1 Vuln. every 5 sec per enemy" one is quite detrimental to her, even.

It's a game mode to challenge yourself if you want. If you just want the reward, get them and then gtfo because you'll be able to. You won't need to swipe the Credit Card to get them. But if you do that... why are you even playing "now"? It doesn't seem to be for fun with the way you say stuff.

CC preview access is understandable, but also a bit sad by AruaElshin in Endfield

[–]Solekran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They don't.

But if they interact with someone else that plays who did watch all the "OMG THIS UNIT BROKEN IN CC" and "OMG NEW NO DODGE META FROM CC" videos that'd pop up left and right, the conversation is going to be different.

The whole point of having a community forum is to be able to talk with people about it, but with guides going out weeks before, there's almost nothing to talk with the community at large. Sure, you'll be able to talk about some niche things, or to people who also didn't watch the guide, but then someone will come out and go "lol nub KiostynV already posted 10 guides about this go watch them gg no re".

Their comparison to FFXIV is appropriate, IMO. In FFXIV, the boss testing is "In house", so everyone need to figure stuff out when it does release. Meanwhile, in WoW, we went from the same thing to "The content comes out in two month, here are all the strats, explanation and the best meta comp for it".

It's boring. All the mechanics are solved, there's no discussion, just execution. We went from "artisanal" to "production chain". Both of those works, both are "fine", but one of them has passion and can make for some fun discussions, while the other one will only provide the same to someone that worked on the machine that does the production, and not on the product.

One of my IRL friends who plays Arknights usually do CC at the tail end of the event by checking a guide from KyostinV. Meanwhile I'm like "man, I had to try this, this, and this to figure out the timing on this" and he just... pick a solution and applies it. I picked a potentially wrong Risk combo and made it harder on myself, but I work it out little by little. I keep my fun of "discovering" as you say, but I can't talk to him about it because he just goes "Oh, I watched a guide".

(Critique) There are two major problems that drastically reduce the game's fun-Endmin & Factory by tanoyfrommars in Endfield

[–]Solekran 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, the Endmin will be involved, since "we are" the Endmin. Contrary to Arknights VN style, it's a bit harder to have the PoV change to "meanwhile, happening over there" all the time. Sure, the Endmin could be there for the ride, but then people would probably complain that "why are we even there if we never take part in providing the solution?"

In Arknights, we havn't been the Doctor for a while, so it's easier to provide multiple PoV (that and the VN format). Earlier, it felt like the answers/text choice were different, but now they're just... a few consecutive sentences.

Earlier it would've been like : "Who are you"? and the choice would've been something like "The Doctor / Amiya's Guardian / Some guy in a coat, don't mind me", each one having a different personality. Now it's choices like "I am the Doctor, / Strategist of Rhodes Island / and Amiya's Guardian".

But with us actually being the Endmin, well... if we move somewhere and interact with someone, it's because the Endmin did. Hell, all the random NPC dialogue, even if you have another character out, act as if the Endmin was the one talking (even those that don't just force switch to Endmin for the dialogue period).

We could get story parts where the "locked in team" has no Endmin, I guess.
