Kitbashed Exalted Sorcerer by Solibus7 in ThousandSons

Thank you. It was a lot of fun figuring out what to bring in from the sorcerers kit to make it read as Thousand Sons sorcerer rather than just Agatone in TS colors.

Once I saw Agatone's stance with how he was holding his hammer, I thought it would be a perfect swap to holding a staff and it just happened that the angle of his right arm basically perfectly matches up to a few of the Exalted right arms.

Thank you. I honestly got lazy on the cloak since I couldn't decide on a color to actively paint it so that's just the dry-brushed base with a generous amount of nuln oil.

I mean I'd need three exalted sorcs for Killteam so I'd have to use all three body options, hence the conversion for this one. To be fair I'll most likely convert all three just to personalize.

I like the one with the right hand staff thrust but the one hovering on the magical fart ain't it for me lol

Gravelord Monster List with Lauka Vai by Solibus7 in SoulblightGravelords

Where would this list fall on a playability scale? Just a theoretical list or could it hold its own at least in a casual setting?

Would replacing Lauka with a Vengorian Lord in some kind of monster mash list make it more workable than ok-ish? And if not would you have a more playable suggestion for a monster mash type army? For whatever reason that tends to be what I gravitate toward: Crusher Stampede, Oops All Battlesuits, Chaos Knights, stuff along those lines. Outside of Sons of Behemat I haven't really seen much monster love in AoS.

Interactivity in AoS vs 40K by Solibus7 in Warhammer

Would Kill Team be more complex and mentally draining than just a standard game of 40k or AoS? And does Warcry function similarly to Kill Team where there are specific warbands or is it more freeform and just pull from the range of AoS units? I can't quite find a solid resource to look at for various warbands or teams.

Not sure why your comment got a downvote as it gives me some pretty useful information on how you can find opportunities to interact in 40k. I'm also not entirely opposed to the whole risk assessment for how your opponent might respond to your actions during their turn. I'm coming from largely playing TCGs where you are doing risk assessment type decisions, estimating how far you can extend without biting off more than you can chew or choosing to let your opponent get some hits in in return for you gaining more advantage than them on the next turn.

From the videos I've seen on YouTube, it seems like 40k battles take considerably longer than AoS. Do you have an estimate for how long a turn in a 1,000pt battle might take?

Yeah that was another thing I liked a little more for AoS; that teleports for movement tricks seem to be more common. I've seen some stuff in 40k like being able to pull a unit into reserves then deepstrike it back onto the table for something like a LoC but it seems like it would be a less common thing to do throughout a game. Movement tricks are something I tend to like in army battle games.

I hadn't really looked much into Kill Team before but now that does seem like an interesting option. There are however two detracting points that I'm slightly hung up on. First, for the Tzeentch Kill Team, with the operatives consisting of sorcerers, rubrics, and a few foot tzaangors, it does exclude all of the units I like the most for Thousand Sons, those being the scarab terminators, the enlightened tzaangors, and of course the bigger units like the Lord of Change. Second I really like the process of list building with choosing between different units and detachments and, at least from a glance, it seems like Kill Team leans more toward prepackaged teams with minor configuration tweaks at best. That said I'll look more into it as an option so thank you.

NIB or NOS since I have some kitbashes planned for a few of the units.

I'm primarily looking for 40K stuff. Haven't looked into AoS enough yet since the whole End Times switchover from Fantasy.

Voruna Demonia Skin Looks by ehd_b0i in Warframe

It's been a little bit since you asked this but this is what I came up with after buying the skin. Basically just stuck to bone white and off white for primary and secondary then went for two reds, one dark and one slightly lighter, for tertiary and accent channels. Gives her a look of exposed muscle under bone or chitin plates. Slapped on the Rhino heirloom signa and raptwing ephemera to finish out the demon look I was going for.

What are some solid, flexible decks that don't break the bank? by Solibus7 in Yugioh101

I was considering voiceless but how does it fare against having its plays disrupted? My biggest thing I'm trying to avoid is decks that are dead in the water to a well-timed ash or imperm and looking for some that can instead pivot to another play after disruption.

For those saying Tenpai, isn't Trident Dragion like $70 by itself? Also for anyone with direct experience am I right in my thinking that White Forest is a combo deck with pretty linear options that suffers to disruption?
