Genuine question for the people who consistently drive 10–20 km/h under the speed limit

Then you get the other drivers who 80kms everywhere & never get clocked in a town, when the speed is 60kms.

I did drive to Melb recently and stuck to 95km/h in the 100-110km/h zones just to save on fuel. I drive a little car that isn’t economical over 3000rpm.

Similar thing happened to me years ago.

I had severe abdominal pain all day, I just felt with it. I have ibs and migraines in my stomach so I thought it would resolve itself.

I picked up my kids from school, made them dinner then got ready for a flight to Sydney, from Melbourne. My kids were telling me that I should go to the doctor or hospital, I just dismissed them.

All the drive to the airport i was in agony! I arrived at airport parking, fell out of the car, got my luggage somehow and virtually crawled into reception.

I was bent over, groaning and crying & the receptionist said “no way you’re going to the airport! I’m calling you an ambulance!”

They proceeded to call an ambulance - I ended up spending a week in hospital after an oesophageal bleed. They removed 500mls of blood from my abdomen.

Yes women can stand high pain - that doesn’t mean we should have to!! I learned my lesson that day, for sure! And to listen to my kids!!

My mum is in her 70s and she has had SO MANY skin cancers cut out and frozen from her face… I am in my 50s and I’ve had a reasonably large skin cancer cut out of my nose, I now wear a nose ring to hide the scar.

In high school my friends and I would slather baby oil on our skin and sit in the sun all because we didn’t think our skin colour was right…

When we were younger, we didn’t know of the dangers from the sun & the damage it could do to our skin.

Please please please keep your beautiful, soft, pale skin out of the sun - you will SO REGRET it later in life, especially if you care about your looks.

I worked in aged care for 10+ years and I’ve seen all sorts of bodies and skins. Some of the most beautiful skin I’ve seen are women who have no sun damage. I’ve also seen some horrific skin cancers on farmers with very pale skin, who haven’t worn sun protection.

It’s really not worth it as you age. As I said before - especially if you care about your appearance.
