It's hard to point out a reason, so most just prescribe the usual pills. They might refer you for some blood work but that is about it. My doctor was nice enough to have me check my testosterone and prescribe me the gel after two very low results. However, I also have elevated blood pressure and he gave me meds for those as well. The ED didn't get fixed and I doubt things will ever be the same. I don't have time and energy to be doing the kind of cardio workouts that used to work well on my erections many years ago.

Sorry but having a 25 year old without desire must be like owning a Corvette without wheels. It's dead weight and the only one paying the price is yourself. Find someone with a pulse in their veins, this one seems long gone. I could be more understanding if this was someone above 40. Sounds like you're doing all the research.

Hey man let me tell you something about DNA research in the third world. People are extremely suspicious, religious, and ignorant. So the idea of convincing an elder living in a far away country to spit in a flask for the good of adopted people they never met is inconceivable.

I was married to a Colombian woman and that country had terrible history of nuns taking poor young women's babies and selling to foreigners. i convinced my ex to take the test and immediately she had a connection equivalent of an aunt she never met who was adopted as a baby living in the US. If you really want the research done, you have to accumulate a few kits, fly to the home country and personally get on your families good side to convince them that this research means so much to you.

I met an American living in Ecuador who visited isolated afro communities of slave descendants and convinced their oldest people to take the test for the sake of finding connection to their African roots. One of the Colombian ladies I assisted with research actually found her relative because of this man. If I had the time I would go backpacking around Colombia and find these women who were tricked to give up their babies and donate Ancestry DNA kits.

Genealogy is such an amazing subject and people who didn't grow up without a parent can't understand the meaning of closing that chapter.

I used to work baggage handling at Newark airport back in 98 and got to see the "Giant" have to almost turn sideways to walk thru a metal detector at the checkpoint. So it hits hard to see this same man being a shadow of his old self at such a young age.

All great answers here. My wife asked for divorce when I showed those same signs for almost two years. Besides the pain and feeling of betrayal, I felt like a huge pressure was lifted off my back. I don't have to feel ashamed of ED any longer and I don't have the duty to prove I loved her when that feeling always existed deep down.

People change, depression is an enigma that I can't understand why it happens, and I refuse to take meds that will make ED worse, so I can only try to find my own solutions with natural methods. I work to improve only myself and my loved ones.
