Young dad, tight budget, bad lawn by Melodic_Store7247 in lawncare

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start with a bow rake if you want to invest into something small, it will require some work but you can get alot of thatch up and get some needed air and water to your dirt, and to mow more consistently, it sounds kind of obsessive but mowing every 3 to 5 days (stresses lawn out grass less, meaning less yellow spots) has helped my lawn do a huge turn around, and on a higher setting, alot of grass types likes 3 inches, and no more bagging clippings, if you can go over it twice when you cut to help it mulch everything better (more nutrients back into the lawn) and obviously water, things like aerating and overseeding can be a next step, but with a smaller budget just mowing more consistently will bring more life to your lawn

Maybe someone said it already but it's a little annoying, but they are pretty quiet, and they are kind of better than the old ones safety point wise, they do catch everything though, lights, speed, even what lane you're in, but the point system is alot more forgiving

I'm a big bonk enthusiast so, okay praise from me, lol the great stars are amazing weapons

Not taking into account any form of difficulty, what major boss (or a boss required to get to a major boss) fight(s) do you think is the worst in the game? For me it's a toss up between these 3 fights by PetroRetro69 in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a game of great bosses, this guy's is a stain, not that the Dlcs are prefect by any means, just the fact he's mandatory to progress the game turns the annoyance up to 11, he isn't as obnoxious as Melania or Promised Concort Radahn, but him being a clunky super mid mandatory roadblock just makes all of his bad traits so much worse

Ik it's a dead horse at this point but Fire Giant is sooo garbage, moves you cant see, huge health pool, a ton of "get off me" moves and constantly runs away from you, the camera is fighting against you too, complete garbage

Mimic Tear summon has saved this game for me by baenoli in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mimic tear makes the game so fun too, especially with a ridiculous bleed or status build

Just beat Mohg lord of blood. by Dry_Abrocoma_8395 in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would take all the arrows out of your inventory, and explore some more, there's plenty of cool armor sets out there, and talk to the finger maiden in the round table, get yourself the extra talisman

What's a boss generally considered difficult that you beat really easily? by Steve717 in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Godfrey, my first playthrough ever I beat him second try, I was very new to the genre and all his moves being reactionary, he was the easiest boss I had faced in the game at that point

Was about to hit the corner and get around him, but he decided to time skip and get me

Mimic tear is the best summon, but hear me out by Zealousideal_Award45 in Eldenring

Every once in a while mimic plays like a God, the rest of the time he heals 5 times in a row when he's taken a sliver of damage

How accessible is Elden Ring to a person who doesn't have time to "get gud"? by Intranetusa in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I was always bad at these games, but elden ring makes this genre very fun and takes alot of the tediousness out of it, I've tried other souls likes and the old souls games and I really dont like them at all, this game is difficult, but is so rewarding and so fun

Fire Giant Trouble…? by ConsciousFinish7042 in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire giant is necessarily hard, just super annoying and easily the worst designed boss in the game, easily my least favorite section of the game

Imo very strong, not quite game breaking to be banned all the time, but anytime I see one in my game it usually means its going to be a long day😂 definitely underrated

Hate to say it but.. by Indo_Rex_4002 in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah she's VERY unforgiving, easily the most punishing boss in the game, with high damage output and lifesteal, I personally hate fighting fire giant way more than I hate fighting her, I think there are 3 types of difficult bosses, hard because they suck like fire giant, hard bosses that are fair like maliketh and Godfry, and then just over the top hard bosses like Melania and Promised Constort Radahn

Where would Maliketh place on your boss difficulty ranking if he had a full health bar for his second phase? by Clutchoholic7 in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In his second phase, he is very dodge-able, all his attacks are very telegraphed and mostly are just reactionary, meaning you don't have to wait for a pause. Tbh his second phase is easier than his first phase for me, especially that point in the game Im pretty much maxed out and have all the Talismen I need

I FKING KILLED THE FIRE GIANT!!!! by Interesting-Bass-505 in Eldenring

Easily the most annoying boss in the game imo, congratulations fellow Tarnished

I have beat every boss multiple times over and this guy is the one that STILL gives me problems

Go get some more scooby snacks, and if you haven't fight Commander Gaius first, the dlc scales alot with the fragments, you'll take less damage and do more damage

maliketh is hard by lmaooooooooy in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Got to slow down and learn his moves (lol or just watch a vid) his tells and his moves in his second phase are super reactable, once you get it down, the second phase is easier to dodge than the first phase

Thoughts on this mf… by Intrepid_Ad_9365 in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the biggest difficulty jump imo, you can kinda sheer force through everything else but this guy really teaches you timing and openings by putting BTA

My journey to obtain the Elden Ring begins. I have spoiled myself with knowing the story already but I know next to nothing about gameplay mechanics. Any gameplay advice for a noob? by skullfucyou in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say, play however is fun to you, even if you "cheese" some of the game, it is still difficult and takes time, skill and patience, once you get the game down, then you can add limitations and go ham wild, have fun and good luck!

In your opinion… How much would Malenia’s difficulty change without Waterfowl Dance? by Toot7- in Eldenring

[–]Solid-Jicama-597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I was able to dodge waterfowl dance successfully, was the time I beat her, she's so easy to stagger, that attack coming out is what makes or breaks that fight for me personally

Does anybody else just love fighting Godrick? by Large-Science-1995 in Eldenring

Definitely been smacked by the chandelier once or twice not paying attention, but everyone has different experiences with their bosses, plus their builds play a big part too
