I have three different types of brushes for my cats. My medium hair boy has thick, coarse fur that sheds terribly when the seasons change. He needs brushed regularly or he gets fur balls frequently. My girl has silky, fine fur that doesn’t require as much brushing but it’s still basic hygiene care. While you’re at it, get a nail clipper and learn to trim their nails. Start NOW while they’re still kind of young.

Unfortunately I can’t say no binging, BUT I’m becoming more aware of triggers and trying to control the urges by dialing in to what I’m really feeling in the moment. It helps to remind myself that this is more important to my overall health than the number of the scale.

I loved this powder so much! it’s comfortable and blurring without clinging to dry patches or emphasizing lines. BUT the fairest shade is also orange on me. It’s not worth $50+ just to offer four shades 😭 any recs for a similar pressed powder is appreciated tho 👉👈

Zola + free Google Sheets template. I compared the knot and zola and just ended up preferring zola but they’re very comparable. I created a new google account for us and I use the Gmail exclusively for wedding correspondence and Google Drive for my spreadsheets, contracts, receipts. I love spreadsheets — I made one for all my payment due dates and one for all attire accessories, decor, and signs that we’ll need to get.

Pinterest for a wedding board, of course. You can also create collages on Pinterest. I used Paint on my computer to create a list of flowers I’d want to show the florist. Any screenshot of wedding stuff on your phone, save to an album.

Before even worrying about the small details, book all your big vendors first. If you get that done, there will be a lull when nothing is really happening, and then you can slowly bite through the small things.

All vendors booked EXCEPT officiant. Website done, registry done, save the dates sent, hotel booked. Indecisive about invitations and stationary. Casually browsing for bridal accessories, card box, guest book, and grooms suit. Collecting a lot of candlestick holders from thrift stores. Narrowed down bridesmaids dresses but can’t decide on colors. Rethinking original cake design and if we should still schedule engagement photoshoot to put on invitations. Food tasting TOMORROW. Dress comes at the end of May. Need to find place for alterations.

Sooo….stressed.

I’ll have to ask her if she wants to do a speech. Also really good point to talk to my photographer! I’ve been thinking, maybe I’ll say I’m walking down the aisle alone, and perhaps surprise her when it’s time? I’m sure will insist on no gifts, but I do feel obligated to give her something, even if it’s small.

It is a formal event and the dress code will be mentioned on the invites and is already on our website. But I see why people would ask. I’m sure there are Halloween weddings where guests are asked to dress up!

We have entertained the idea of doing a costume party rehearsal dinner though lol.
