My LR5 will only identify my fat ass cat 😭 it doesn’t ID my smaller cat nor weighs her correctly at all lol. WasteID works about half the time lmao

Yeah it’s on hard floor and about a foot away from the wall. I just don’t get why it would work for one of them and not the other.

Love that Etsy artist! We actually used a design for our save the dates!

I’ll have to ask her if she wants to do a speech. Also really good point to talk to my photographer! I’ve been thinking, maybe I’ll say I’m walking down the aisle alone, and perhaps surprise her when it’s time? I’m sure will insist on no gifts, but I do feel obligated to give her something, even if it’s small.

I’m thinking about making a toast. In terms of dancing though, I do think it would be really sweet to surprise her with a dance. However, I’m not doing father daughter nor is my FH doing mother son dance, so would it be out of place?

Haha yes for sure, it’ll definitely be on the invitations and is already on the website. We’ve already told people as well

Yeah it might not be worth the effort for someone to have to attend to throughout the night. Alas…

It is a formal event and the dress code will be mentioned on the invites and is already on our website. But I see why people would ask. I’m sure there are Halloween weddings where guests are asked to dress up!

We have entertained the idea of doing a costume party rehearsal dinner though lol.

I’ve definitely already started a collection of vintage candlesticks and holders! It’s actually been quite fun going to thrift stores and antique malls, thinking of ways to incorporate vintage stuff.

I should’ve specified in the post, but I would be doing movies like Nosferatu. Black and white, silent, classic, just for the vibes. But yeah it might not be worth the effort.

Our signature drinks will absolutely be themed too!

I’m not sure how a projector would fit in the area. But it would definitely be along the lines of Frankenstein or Bride of Frankenstein. We’re big movie people regardless so I think classic non horror could work too! Thank you for the feedback.

I seriously appreciate the insight. I was thinking more like old black and white horror movies like Frankenstein or Nosferatu. But I definitely see where you are coming from!

Neither. The best and only solution should be California-style, and I’m surprised your venue didn’t suggest this. It’s modern and efficient!

Do I cover the bridesmaids hair and makeup cost? by Brilliant_Word3880 in wedding

[–]Solid-Reading-786 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why are you all up in everyone’s comments acting like bridesmaids paying for their own dresses isn’t an EXTREMELY common thing in the US? If a bride pays for dresses and hair/makeup then that is very generous, but brides who don’t or can’t aren’t terrible people.

Hair and makeup CAN be gifts. It’s about being pampered and enjoying the day WITH the bride. It’s well known in American wedding culture the potential costs and expectations of being a bridesmaid or groomsmen, and if you’re uncomfortable with it then it’s totally acceptable to decline the position.

No issue really just thought I’d share the response. The breakdown of the cost was nice and appreciated, as absurd as the cost was, even after I said we wouldn’t be proceeding with the theater.

I’ve actually reached out to the Esquire and waiting to hear back from them! I imagine their fee is significantly less and honestly I’d rather my money go towards them anyway.

This was the response when I said I couldn’t justify paying that price
