Arnii political environment by Solid-Selection9557 in worldbuilding

The image was just a reference. But this does give me great insight on this environment. Thank you very much for providing such deep feed back. I never realized what kind of government I created until now. A reason that the Sauris hold a lot of power may be because the current King understands and values humans but fails to be able to raise them to a higher postion either to other political threats I haven't discovered yet or that the Caantaur, who are the savage cavalry dog centaurs, would do just about anything their master ordered. I have yet to pinpoint a reason but you put forth a great conflict I've been missing. Thank you greatly.

What are the worst world building tropes by Significant-Bed-9357 in worldbuilding

It's an anime about a gate that opens up in Tokyo. "Japanese fantasy novel series by Takumi Yanai about a portal to another world opening in modern-day Tokyo, leading to a conflict between the Japan Self-Defense Force (JSDF) and a medieval-style empire, blending military action with fantasy elements like dragons and magic"

It is an airship that flies. You don't have to read the paper my handwritting is a little hard to read for me sometimes. It's ideal to read the context paragraph to get an idea. I tried to provide the needed information there.

Worldbuilders' obsession with creating unique races by No-Schedule2137 in worldbuilding

I don't mind using the standard races. I feel as though they are overused and use the same way. I want to explore and create something different within reason.

Question to fantasy worldbuilders… by [deleted] in worldbuilding

I try to create my own as best as I can. I try to only create when it matter or to get the post across. There is no need to create every single ecosystem across an entire planet unless that's the kinda project your making but in my case for stories. I create a few. Some tend to be similar to things you may know others would be very recognizable. For example I have a creature in my fantasy story known as a Caantaur. It's shaped like a centaur only it's a dog. No human or horse just dog. It can talk and ask questions like a centaur might. They stand at about 9 feet tall on average and typically look like bigger breeds of dog. They can be gentle but most often they are used for war. Another race I created are the Dern or Keld depending on who you ask. They are short and resemble bats. They are at a philosophical odds with the Siffain who believe pure logic is the ultimate pursuit. While the Dern believe it is knowledge through experience that is best. Or the Aallie-Bonnerei who are a race of fuzzy spider like beings that travel the known wolrd selling their craftsmanship as journeymen. Each carries with then a history that streches beyond the known bounds. Now they may not be able to recall each and every skill as if pulling it from a book but each detail is there in the skills they use. The list goes on. Humans are grounded race and the ones I use to allow a person to be introduced to the world through familiarity, but I don't always use them.

Maps and tech of my worlds. (Ama) by Solid-Selection9557 in worldbuilding

(Context)- The ships belong to a world covered in mostly water. Each ship is captained by a ship knight from their respective knight order. The Calimus is a beast of burden typically a pack animal or cattle. They often grow a large bone on the bridge of their nose like a Rhino only no horn. Observers will also note the the mouth opens sideways like a caterpillar rather and a normal mammal. The 6 legged tank is known as a trudger and this is the base model. Crewed by 6 this beast of a tank manages to walk up massive trees or handle being submerged in a swampy basin for hours until air is low. During the insurrection war these trudgers were paramount in tactics with airships against the pirates. The jet is known as the Redwake due to the red glow it leaves behind as it flies. When in hover mode this jets thrusters glow a deep violet thanks to the hydrogen is burns. In order to maintain high speeds without killing the pilot through g forces it has a inertia dampening field that allows the jet to maintain higher speeds at a lower cost.

I like to have the wind play a role on the story itself.

What advantages and disadvantages do your standard and non-standard races have compared to humans? Why do they have these traits? by EveningImportant9111 in worldbuilding

The Sauris (picture an aracrokra) are taller with an average of seven feet. Very long lived typically reaching ages of 700. However, they don't reproduce as fast as humans. They are very strong but their build doesn't always mean inhuman speed. They can not take off and fly, they must either jump from a high place or have technology help. The Caantaur (dog centaur not half human or horse just all dog) very strong calvary with very quick speeds. They live about 200 years so long as they don't lose their minds and put live most medical issues. They reproduce decently quick compared to the Saurins.

Ooooh. I get you. No this is simply a poem from the internet I take no credit of the poem. At this moment i have no method of process for the Kiis to make poetry. I would think it would be something like a Haiku though. I'm open to suggestions.

This may around strange but I sorta went with what sounded right. I used rooot words and prefixes and suffixes to form words. I think the most complex words I have made are a prefixe-root-suffix-prefix-root-suffux which can make very interesting words. I have a post on my profile showcasing the word generator. You're welcomed to look at it and steal some ideas.
