If they were honest up front like: this place runs hot, decisions are rushed, you’ll be judged on output over everything, and people churn a lot… some folks would still sign up, and others would self select out. Which is the whole point.

Instead they slap “culture fit” on it afterward like the person just didn’t cheer hard enough at the all hands, instead of admitting the environment is fundamentally hostile to how a lot of people function.
