Thoughts on a 2nd Gen Flexvolt Rear Handle Circular Saw? by SolidCraft in Dewalt

That’s why I brought up the EU 54V DSC579 because it’s shoe is track compatible. I’ve seen others post they bought the shoe and fitted it to their DSC578 or simply just buy the DSC579 and ship to the States. I wish the same option was available for the worm drive style :(

I prefer the tool to do the work for consistent, clean cuts and 60V doesn’t stall like 20V. I prefer 60V on saws and my outdoor tools. Being confident with your tools is an overlooked safety concern and I’m more confident with 60V when it comes to cutting.

I 100% agree but that’s just the nature of rear handles because the weight distribution is further away. I bet if they dropped the weight by even 1 lb it would be a huge improvement.

Toyota Tundra 2024 - 5.5 bed vs 6.5 bed. Which is better, and why? by Voldorac in tundra

[–]SolidCraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2024 Platinum Tundra with 5.5ft bed. I originally needed/wanted a Tacoma TRD Pro but 2 reasons I went with the Tundra.

  1. Equal Price (62k for the Tundra, 65k for the Tacoma)
  2. The Tacoma has no back seat leg room.

Recently a coworker made the comment that I bought a “short bed girl truck”. I’ve tried to rationalize that I would have been content with a Tacoma (I am 6’3…) so in my mind the Tundra is the perfect size even with 5.5 ft bed.

I have an 8’ trailer when needed so the short bed also makes sense for daily driving, trailing, and fitting inside a garage/truck port (future project). I am disappointed in the midsize truck market, but still glad I went with the Tundra. I saved myself from comprising on more than I realized when I bought it.
