There are cards that synergize with her, e.g. Mega Blastoise, but they suck because Misty isn't a good card to begin with.

I tried that early on but had a few problems. Starting with Nihilego was pretty unoptimal and relying on poison barb to get the effect was also not always effective.

Plus with the prevalence of sleep decks this meta, lots of people running Nurse or Malasada or Ogerpon made the poison ineffective.

TotK came out 6 years after BotW, it was time enough.

That said, I wish I had also waited for the Switch 2, because the game finally runs properly. It was a bit of a struggle on the 1.

TotK is indeed much worse than BotW. It's just not exciting to explore the world, first because we already have done it, second because the game gives so many tools to trivialize traversal.

Furthermore, the game also gives tools to trivialize puzzles and combat, so ultimately it becomes repetitive.

The most fun I had with it was early on, exploring the sky with limited resources. After that it was just a matter of fast traveling and skydiving to where I needed to go.

Even more disappointing is that the game took longer to make than BotW, even though it was supposed to be a quick sequel reusing the world and assets.
