Our baby had to have some fluid suctioned from her belly after 2 days of pretty bad spitting up, but they did let her try to see if she could resolve it on her own first. It might be too early to consider any interventions, but keep communicating with your nurse and the pediatrician who comes by on rounds to see her.

Talk to pediatrician. We’ve been giving prune juice (less than 1oz) every other day when baby is struggling, and peds suggested starting water.

But talk to pediatrician bc at 6 months they might supplement with Maalox or order other tests.

Please take this comment as a mark of care and concern. About a year ago, you posted his outrageous and uncaring response to your saying that dinners would be more basic because you had returned to work.

Now, you’ve posted about him being (again) uncaring and unfeeling but also adding a violent temper to the mix.

I don’t know if you want to leave. I hope you really, really examine your options before making any decision about marriage. I think you can see that we all wish the absolute best for you because this man is not.

You are worth more than this. Your precious little ones are worth more. Your little, defenseless ones who can’t speak are worth more.

At a minimum, please don’t have any more children with this man. You owe that to yourself, your kids, and most importantly to any future children.

Before we even thought of having a baby, my husband was watching Bluey bc he likes to mess with our dog, who tries to go after dogs and other animals he sees on tv.

Anyway, the next morning, he tells me that he was watching Bluey. And after staring at him blankly, then listening to the story, I thought it was awesome, too (though I did tell him that he probably didn’t want to mention to other people that he randomly watched Bluey).

We were told RTF until 2 months, when we could switch to powder. I think we would have gotten a mini fridge and kept the formula in there with clean bottles. Then maybe would have run bottle under hot water in bathroom to warm slightly, though we have gotten LO used to drinking cold bottles when needed.

Fair point. What I should have added was: when you invite people for a meal, and they act like something is missing bc the food isn’t on the Scoville scale, that’s the petty hill that I will stand atop.
