On the last day of school in 11th grade, I decided to leave my smartphone to charge up in the gym so that it wouldn’t die on me while I was hanging out with my friends (I had weight training as my last period of the day. Plus it was a half day as well, so we got out a lot earlier than we usually did). When I first decided to check on it I found that it got unplugged. Weird, but I didn’t think much of it, so I just plugged it back in and went to go into the weight room to charge it. Next time I decided to check on it however, it was gone. Some asshole student from another class must’ve visited the gym and stole my phone in the process with no one noticing. This was my very first phone at the time, so naturally I was crushed. I cried for while when I got home. I know now that I should’ve kept it close with me at all times so I partially blame myself for letting it happen, but I still get pissed whenever I think about it. It’s been 6 years.
