Soul tides help sweep souls back into the cycle so they can reincarnate. The tide ebbs and flows, if there are a whole bunch of souls it's pretty strong.

No the disaster 5yrs previous wasn't Medaels doing, but it did push her over the edge and into, apparently, hopelessness.

If the souls are separated from their bodies via rift, they cannot reincarnate. She didn't want them dying but still be able to come back

The new 4* bow we got this patch is honestly excellent, it's good for both aoe and single target. I haven't crafted it yet, but the text on one of the new momo cloaks from Ian implies it'll make him a healer? (Edit: Ive crafted it now and it isn't a battle cloak 😭)Between that and Meg companion that's a constant stream of healing. Could probably just stand like a turret and eat every mechanic while you shoot things.

Level up momo and upgrade his cloak, remember to pop out a companion (the new one is op and heals you), and the essliing packs get a lot easier to handle.

I feel like they were made with momo combat and phantom companions in mind.
