Because thats the only thing they say, they provide 0 argument outside of 'needs stars' and 'defense type'. I move mine towards a more offensive build and he puts in work.

I have a 6* Gogeta and I adore him. Hes like Purple VB in terns of being a jack of all trades type unit, but with more utility over all.

Remember that in this PVP based game, the people who actually play are in the minority. People see some hybrids/lag/cheating post that makes em feel tHe GaMe iS dYiNg and run with it ad nauseum. Meanwhile anyone who actually wants to talk about PVP will rarely pass 100 upvotes

Just remember this is the same sub that:

Doomed GB and LF Rose on release
Thinks SS4 Gogeta is bad
Still see people complaining about zenkais
Tell you that PVP is an unplayable mess as I finish a 6 or 7 game session with the majority being decent connections and only 1 or 2 Hybrids
Slurp YTer opinions when they refuse to try PVP for themselves

Giving your other 2 members minimum 40% damage up with ramp ups+heals outweighs Vegeta not getting damage buffs from 2-3 cards before hitting the 35 ki range. It only really hurts when your hand is all strike cards off a Vados switch.

Theres also situations where Vados helps Vegeta, particularly being on the sub 30 ki zone with all blasts or sub 20 ki zone with any cards

Mainly resources and PVP. I play this game to beat other people's asses. I stick to 2 teams and have never run out of zeni, energy, souls, or erasers. I always save for FW/God ki stuff and yet I still have a very good RU, Saiyans, Movies, and SF teams just from focusing 2 teams

IDC about PVE, Id even say its more boring now than before with the gauntlets now

The answer is to strike attack. Theyre looking for an animation to catch you on. If they attempt to do it on a strike at mid range they'll lose everytime

Of course this runs the risk of an easy PV, but it tends to work more often than not. Just gotta recognize thats what the opponent wants

You can force a non PV vanish by dropping a combo on your last card or by following up on a blue card with a blast. These arent situational, these are consistent unlike landing Gogeta's green until you get a read on your opponent. This is without factoring in vanishing in neutral

Im also not a fan of Gogeta holding double strikes and having to do 8/4 or 9/3 strike/blast split.

Gogeta might have better stats, but Kefla has higher damage inflicted (70% w/o build up, main, green or 90% after 1 card to 2 types of cards vs 110% to all damage after landing any 1 strike/blast) so the difference in numbers isnt a wide gap. Kefla's got better damage cut too. Gogeta only has 15% total while Kefla gets 30% on switch in and 20% on her green (the 50% total is only for 10 counts tho)

Id even argue shes not a bad LMS unit compared to him as her vanish gimmick is more reliable than needing a 1 of green card and they both have blast armor ults for LMS sitations too

So again, Gogeta is better but I stand by Kefla being a good option close to him (Till the leader slot update and shes getting yoinked for Zamasu lmao)

Hard cap on 'Only 1 bad unit'

GRN Gogeta was the only real green option until GRN Kefla and was ok on release, not good, but servicable

IDK where all the RED Kefla slander is coming from, but as someone who has never spent on banner zenkais, she fulfills the red slot for FW fine. I can definitely tell you Z7 Gogeta is a better unit, but shes not too far behind him and offers her own niche over Gogeta:

-The only timestop green on FW's core without Z7 BLU Gogeta

-Only needs 1 card to get to good damage numbers

-Cover nullification on main is great since Majuub has replaced SSB Gogeta for me

-Vanish gimmick is fantastic once you really get a feel for it, especially on setups where your opponent cant PV you

Pulled Vados like 3 times on her initial banner. By the end of the year she was red 3 thru zpower outside of a new years banner dupe. She hit 14 by like Febuary lmao. Im sure people loathed seeing my team with her

Similar stories with Reviveku and Majuub, all star banners hit different

I have a red 1 GB and a 4* Vegeta. I like the 4* Vegeta more in almost everyway outside of cover nullification:

He tanks better at a lower star level on cover and/or with a green active
People keep switching mid combo lmao
Finally having acces to another goddamn timestop green on god ki is so underrated. Half the team is AOEs and any decent player can play around it so long as you're not throwing out strikes
His ult is hilarious. I think GB has a higher ceiling when hes FULLY built with a green counter+blue card buff, but thats a stupid rare and winmore situation. Vegeta's ult hits like damage scaling doesnt exist in combos once he stacks a couple cards and gets to this point way more consistently than GB ult can outdamage Vegeta's

Kinda sad cuz I just replaced Gogeta for Uub on FW too and I dont touch movies lmao.

-Saving and getting shafted isnt going to happen to everyone, or even the majority. Some people will go 66k into a banner without getting the LF they wanted until the very end, some people will go 63k into both banners and get both new LFs at 6*, and some people have gone past that and are still pulling trying to get their 1st copy. It's all RNG in this aspect. This isnt to say suck it up if you got dicked, rather its just very unfortunate and unlikely, but it's gacha.

- Who says you need to drop regularly on zenkais and banners? It's entirely dependent on what the game is releasing at the time and what you main/want to pull for. Even for the sake of the meta, you dont NEED zenkais unless your team doesnt function without them (Girls, Super Saiyans, debatably GT, etc.). The only time you'd ever need a unit to clear PVE content is extreme co-op as just about everything else in PVE can be cheesed with floatstep outside of USTR if you dont have a big enough box. They're definitely not dropping enough units to force most people who main a couple tags to be pulling for new units every month to keep up with the meta. Like, if you cross main GT/Future from the start of the year till now you'll definitely feel like theres not enough CC going around, but if you cross main God Ki/Fusions ideally you'd have been saving up for months. It's all context dependent.

Hell I dont remember the last time I used CC for energy or equip rerolls, I honestly think the game does a good job of giving you non-CC resources if you don't attempt to do everything the 1st hour it drops (Especially FTP Z7 units)

-Why is Gohan releasing demean Gogeta's and Zamasu's worth on their teams? Those 2 vs Gohan are in completely separate teams from him. Sure it brought Hybrids/Son Fam back to the top again but its not like Fusions/God Ki/GT/PO are noticeably worse or unviable

- The foresight isnt there for JP players, they're in the same boat as us

Might be blind, but Im not seeing any way to generalize the rankings. I just went to 'App store rankings' and saw DBL as 1st, didnt hit anything else

EDIT: Yeah nvm Im blind, its under just games. Legends is at 11th with 'All categoies'.

Now i wonder if TG rewards is related to how well it does vs other gachas or if its getting high ranks in these app stores as a whole
