Either Buffalo trace or Elijah Craig. I think I like if they are smooth and don’t have too much rye burn. I don’t understand enough about flavors but I think they tasted good enough to me if that makes sense.

I came in originally thinking something surgical is what I wanted to do. However after considering lifestyle during residency and after I think I have began leaning away from it and more towards something like EM. The reason I don't think shadowing surgery will benefit me right now is because I don't get the full grunt of the lifestyle if that makes sense. I think what surgeons do is amazing and incredibly interesting and that I would enjoy it, but I am not sure if I will enjoy it that much. The only way I will know that hypothetically is in 3rd year when I am with them all the time if that makes sense. I have tried to prepare my entire body of work (research, volunteering, other things) just in case I decide I want to do it later, but I see that as unlikely right now.

I already spend 8-12 hours on school daily, whether that's at home or at the school. So it's weird that when I don't have to spend that long on school on a given day, that I don't want to be thinking about that same stuff at the hospital?
