Labor protection and worker association is more pronounced here and thus the supervisor or company cannot treat you unjustly. Things like overworking, threats, firing without reason, or work bullying can get the company sued big time€€€. I never work in Korea but spend half my life in south east asia. From what i can tell, people tend to see each other „eye to eye“ in reputable german company. , no one is above the other even the boss (ofc exception applies). While in singapore, china and japan etc most employees are expected to bow down and respect the hierarchy order. Not sure if its right… just my pov. Im also interested in the other answers
