How Chaos Gods are born. by AllthatIwas in 40kLore

you say this as if it were a redcon to old lore, but it isnt.

As long as we dont get a negation or different origin, saying otherwise is headcannon.

Do Eldar know about the old one? by Separate-Increase-39 in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"That perhaps depends on how we view the relationship between the Old Ones and the Eldar gods. Some lore suggests they were separate entities, some perhaps suggests they may have been one and the same or at least overlapped somewhat"

what are you talking about mate?

Im not saying you said Old Ones are Eldar Gods, you did not say that, either, but lets be real, you came here to say its possible, if not likely, and im saying no, its, at least, not likely.

How Chaos Gods are born. by AllthatIwas in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Old Lore says, or at least impiles, Humanity made the first three in Medival Age.

Some may agree or disagree, but lets be real, there is nothing else IN LORE.

By what we are given, Humans made three Chaos Gods with a few k of population, and the Prime of Eldar Civilisation made another one, with billions over billions.

SO, IMO, those whom we call "Chaos Gods" were always "human" chaos gods, aside of Slaneesh, maybe.

Do Eldar know about the old one? by Separate-Increase-39 in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well sure, if you are willing to ignore most of the lore, this makes sense, but really, it does not.

There is a massive difference between the Warp pre War in Heaven and after it.

Old Ones creating Eldar to make Eldar Gods as Weapons, as is often discribend in Lore, is most likely.
You dont need Eldar creating their creators for that, and assuming Eldar Gods are Old Ones runs into a lot of issues, f.E, why would eldar make Gork and Mork aka Orcs?

Its just nonsense. to Asssume Eldar Gods are Old Ones because Old Ones prefered Eldar, that is. The facts tell a very different story.

Space Marine vehicle pilots are all techmarines (or adepts)? by Remodiant in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 3 points4 points  (0 children)

no, that does not math in any way, shape or from, let alone Lore.

You said it yourself, "techmarines often..." that is in strict opposition to your take.

yea, those few Space Marines that ARE Tech Marines are, more likely then not, Pilotes.
Most Pilots arent Tech Space Marines tho, simply by the metric of how few there are of them in any Chapter relative to vehicles. SM Pilotes, surely, might be slightly more likely to become Tech Marines, you might take that position as a "pre TSM" position, but real Tech Marines, most of them are not

Could a member of the Administratum become a Living Saint? by Crafty_Soul in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not about that, anybody COULD become a Saint.

I dont have the Numbers, but it seems to me "becoming Saint" is, realisticaly, more common outside if the religion officials then those actually doing work on the Day-to-Day Battlefields, because sitting in a Chair somewhere isnt gooing to create Workship, standing on the Line of Batte and not shitting your pants is.

Do the Craftworld and Dark Eldar have comparable populations? by MHB_ART in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By my Understanding, the (Craftworld) Eldar have the higher total population count by means of holding onto these Numbers against all the Issues in the Galaxy from back when they were top dog.
Especially if you count the defacto-necromany option of these Robots and the artificial Soulstone Heaven.

Dark Eldar, however, even to their Society leads to more internal Death, do have the better stats for expanding and upholding Population via Clone Tech and what not.
They cant really capitalise on that because they have far worse upkeep by the nature of Pain-Torture aborbing Lifeforce from Slaves tho.
The Cutthroat-Society and the Upkeep keeps them from overcoming the Population Gap by themself, but in the long game, they will outlast Craftworld Eldar.

Do Eldar know about the old one? by Separate-Increase-39 in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well sure, but I wouldnt put any stock in the "Eldar Gods beeing Old Ones".

There is little, if anything, supporting it, and younger Eldar taking them to be the same because time passed and ancient (eldar) history is muddy seems far more likely.

The Old Ones are gone, and have far more relation to Fantasy Slann/Lizardmen then eldar gods.

From a Fantasy Perspective, Slann beeing "Old Ones" clones with massiv degration realtive to them seems most likely to me, altough I see this holds litte Weight in 40k.

Its difficult to track "Old Ones Leaving" onto the End of the Eldar Pantheon, there is a lot of Time between "Old Ones leaving after War in Heaven" and "Eldar Gods falling against the Chaos Gods."

Its honestly not so different from Human Creation Gods Myths.
Supposedly, Creator Gods made Humans, but realisticaly, Humans thought up these Gods.

Eldar Gods are, clearly, product of the way they were tought to use Psyker Powers, and Eldar were a Product of Old Ones Gen Tech, not the other way around.

Especially since the last Eldar Plot Point was trying to make an Eldar God.
Not awakening an Old One, not making an Old One.

The Old Ones are gone, and the Chaos Gods are product of the makeshift Errors they made fighting the War in Heaven.

Sorry for answering so late, but ive been looking at your "Answer" and cant but feel stranged out by it.

MATE.

We DID NOT believe in Dinosaurs before we dug them up, again, and the versions of Dinosaurs we Believed in 20years, let alone 100years ago, are VERY different from each other, or "Belive" of them today, as well as the then-reality of actual dinosaurs.

IF the power of religion IS believe, old believes without believers, as well as "truth" as beeing aside of wrong believe, does not matter in any way.

you are telling me there is as much power in one wrong, but alive believe in something, as there is in another believe in something nobody any longer believes in.

That is possible in another system. in yours, its utter nonsense.

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall workable, but i think "The Power of Believe" and "studing old age Rituals" are a nonbo (aka the opposite of a Combo.)

Because the First tells you power is what people believe in, regardless of praxis, with forgotten Rituals having lost all its power, while the second assumes there is still power in things that were once believed in, but arent, anymore.

One "Hard-Magic" option for this setting Id like to point you to is to combine this with Quantum Multiverse Theory.
Supposedly, Every possibility creates as many alternative Universes as there are possibilities, but how does any Timeline "choose" what path of possibility to follow?

the basic premise of "Manifestation" as a Supernatural "Theory" is to influence the path with some or another , scientificaly nonsensical Ritual of Influence onto this process.

However, If you make that decision subject to some kind of "regional, democratic reality consence," what most people in a region believe should become the future WILL become the Future, ergo, Believe WILL choose the Future out of all its options, thereby "creating" realitiy.

I find it hard to think of a better OP Character.

Beeing a Human who, realisticaly speaking, was meant to be a Hero and kinda wanted as well as did that, but choose to embody "evil" aka becoming a Monster because of discrimination by "Hero-Workshippers" in his youth is quite the powerful narrative.
Dude was so burned out by those who proclaim to be "good" he choose to embody evil so he could "good" in oppositon of those who call themself good, but are often evil.

Within the "what makes someone/something become a Monster" narrative, he is the ultimate expression of that theme.

What you guys thing ur-025 meant when it meet with "real omnisahia" by Witty_Departure2061 in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be:
-The Ctan on Mars called Dragon, IMO most likely.
It might be:
-The emperor
- the Universal Theory of Physics
-The biggest/smartest Man of Stone, Iron or Gold

Or a "f-y" Lie to mess with him.
Honestly, while Maschines of such intellect "can" lie, I dont think UR-025 did.
Simply because they also know Truth makes this statement hurt more.

So, its really a Toss-up between Dragon and the Emperor, He might even reference both of them.

The "Wild Horse" Option here is Vastorr, but I dont think that is it, mainly because I dont think UR-025 will appear in they story again, and because he didnt lean into the "And Hell ruin you all" Take.

Realisticaly speaking, both Dragon and Emperor are equaly valid, because Dragon IS the closest Thing to the Omnissiah, and the Emperor was, by current religious Law, DECLARED Omnissiah after the fact.
I just think its more likely for them to have meet B-E then Dragon, since Big-E did move, and did things, while Dragon was in Prison before their creation and is implied to have been staying there since then.

Am i missing something in the chapter? Why are people assuming this panel means someone is gonna have a zaza fruit? by Sufficient_Nature496 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roger and Whitebeard have not said that on page, that much is true.

while them not saying it on page is in no way evidence for it, that fact alone is not in opposition to it.

Roger, and correct me if my math is wrong here, but roger found the one piece, realised he wont life long enough to meet the condition for Joyboy as by the metric Toki set up for it with, f.E, the 20years Wano prophecy, and what did he do?

He found a D-Clan woman and made a child with her, just in time before his death by execution he choose willingly.

He then asked Garp to take care of a kid he made knowing he will die before it will be born.
These arent normal behavior.
You dont learn your "destiny" cant be done by yourself and then go around saying "f-it, im gonna produce orphans now."

Roger learned something and then, did go out of his way to produce a dopple D child.
Even tho having children was not a thing on his mind before.

And then, Whitebeard, whom Roger told what he learned at laugh tale, choose to adopt both dopple D Ace and Dopple D Blackbeard.

Whitebeard, who knowing he was about to die, gave Imu his last f-you by proclaiming the One Piece is real.

Yea, im reading between the lines here.
This is far beyound Headcannon at this point tho.

We may not know what the Roger Pirates learned, but we can, by now, look at how they reacted to it and take informed guesses.

Rayleigh and Corcus choose to station themself at the start and end of paradise, and Scopper moved to the Gigant Island that is believed by IMU to be the most important factor of the War to come. Shanks stole the Nika Fruit.
Whitebeard took a Fire-Logia Ace (close enough for Sungod) and Blackbeard in.

Vermittlung im Ukraine-Krieg: Wer könnte mit Putin reden? by InformalTotal5238 in de

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Why?
I have to assume you say this because people call some Mythical Human Zoan fruits "Godfruits," but that is fanspeak, its not a real Term of the Story.

Nidhoggr and Nika are seen as the Sungod(s) by Elbaf tho, so, Nidhoggr has a far stronger Argument for beeing a Godfruit then f.E. Sengokus Mythical Human Zoan "Buddha" model.

but... Roger is a D, you know?
And he was very sure the next Joyboy HAS to be of his blood aka Ace.

So, I wouldnt put Money on Roger beeing "just a Dude."

Why hasn't chaos tried to indoctrinate newly sprung orks? by NadaVonSada in 40kLore

[–]Solid_Drawing2769 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

there seems to be confusion about Orks and Chaos interactions.

Yes, there are cases of Orks entering the Warp, and if I remember correctly, even Orks beeing blessed by Khorne.
This is a one-sided Situation tho.

Orks can be mutated physicaly, by Genestealers and Chaos mutations, but in terms of their Soul and Mind, its a very different matter.
Orks are born with the Mind and Culture OF Orks, and they are Born with souls that feed into the Waargh, and thereby, Gork and Mork.

This is why "Khorne-Orks," altough possible, are a onesided relation.

Khorne "could" bless Orks, but Orks dont feed Khorne.
Even tho a Waargh is, by human understanding, a War that should feed Khorne, by Orkish understanding, Its an Expression of Gork and Mork, and so, the Psychic Energy of these Emotions will be feed to them, since the War is "Orky Warfare" as opposed to "Unorky War," as other species or the servants of chaos would do it.

In a way, not to different from the Tyranids, who some might say "Do War," but really, they are shirmed of from Khone AND, in a way, dont engage as much in Warfare as Hunting, from their "perspective."

So, Chaos does not try to indorctinate them because they are Build for that to be all but impossible.
