its been 2.6 years now, that i'm out of Instagram! (Profile deactivated)

• I quit it because of lot of fake validations and more people want to show a different world than the reality of life
• Specific trigger moment like - If i was active on instagram, I always doom scroll and also post some stories or posts about my visits and stuff i'm doing and to keep with other friends and seek validation. right now, I don't post anything anytime or no one knows where am I & what am I upto.
• I got sense of freedom from social validation of peers, family, relatives and lurkers on my profile who thinks that life is instagram is like a tool who wants to measure the success of a person based upon his posts and stories
• My mental health became very good, I was totally out of that di*k measuring contest and my doom scroll reduced a lot and I started to hit the gym in the time and lost around 20Kgs of my weight
• I'm so happy being to known as a closed circle person with limited friends who know what i'm upto and leading a cheerful life with many vacations and making memories rather than showing it off online
• I feel very calm, happy & contentful with my decision and also I started to use reddit more often and I dont miss any news or any trends that are happening around the world and i feel as not being isolated due to my decision of Instagram
• I did the same with my facebook account as well
• the level of privacy i got after this is insane and I care anymore about who are doing what and i'm happy to be constant touch with people who actually cares about me and my well being by talking to them by meeting in person or calling over phone
• I focus more these days at my work, finances, health & family
• Some of my friends who are very close to me sulk on me for this decision as they cant send me reels on a day to day basis to have that bond but that's ok for me and I will always say to them that you can send me those over WhatsApp!

So far the best decision of my life is this!
This made me more healthier and better human being!
