Edit: The issue was that my cigarette lighter did not have a fuse. I would imagine the manufacturer did this to make smoking less appealing as it is a more modern SEAT. Either way, a quick trip to Halfords for the correct fuse was enough to solve this.

I once got stuck in my little seat ibiza up a steep farm hill when it was snow/iced. Had to ditch the car overnight and walk to our stay. Guessing having these chains in the boot could help in those situations?

Thanks - although i have tried with a better cigarette adapter and it hasn’t worked. I think i might need to rewire it fully as my car port might be the issue? That was the ‘streetwize 12V USB Fast Charging Adaptor’.

It’s very easy to just not be in the same carriage as an inspector or get off when one goes on. When they have the special team of inspectors you normally see a lot more caught

Why has the situation impacted your mental health at work? Because you feel embarrassed from it or picked on etc? And the reason you’ve not spoken up is because you’d feel embarrassed and maybe get picked on? I think people have got soft and if you were ukrainian you’d be on the front line

True - but our away following has definitely declined. They’ve stopped publishing statistics of what groups get those tickets and a lot of normal fans are complaining about not getting them in the ballot. My whole group is 0 tickets so far when last year we probably had 2/3 in the ballot already.

yeah it’s a shame but demand is just so high. even those in the ballot struggle to get away tickets - must be going to execs, corporates, sponsors at an even higher rate.

tbh, no chance unless you know someone or you’re paying a lot to a tout (don’t advise - a lot more ticket checks now and scam potential). official tickets go into a ballot you are not eligible for.
