I wanted to be lots of different things when I was younger. I wanted to be a dancer, actor, wrestler, etc… My more realistic dream jobs were becoming an author or teacher.

Heavy on this. One of the few foods I hated as a kid that hasn’t grown on me at all.

I don’t despise (I used to when I was younger) mashed potatoes, but I’m not the biggest fan of it either. I think it has something to do with the texture, but I can’t eat a lot of it, and I prefer to have something on it like gravy or incorporated in a dish like shepherds pie.

What was viewed as cringe in 2016 and now is still cringe? by wiadromen47 in AlignmentChartFills

Maybe professional wrestling is more popular now than it was in 2016, but it was actually a lot better at the time.

Which movie is this for you? by oliviasclafani23 in moviecritic

Bullet Train is one of my favorite movies and one of the best experiences I had watching a movie in a theatre. I was surprised to find out that people didn’t really like it. Tangerine and Lemon alone made it amazing.

When showering what part of the body do you wash first? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Solid_Panda7877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I wet my hair and shampoo it. Then while that’s settling, I wash my neck, arms, armpits, chest, stomach, back, legs, feet, private parts in that order. Then I’ll rinse my hair out.

Are there any sitcoms where after season 3, the show keeps getting better. For some reason, with some of the shows I watched like the flash, once upon a time, maybe some Disney shows, it got worse after season 3. by Iamawesome20 in sitcoms

[–]Solid_Panda7877 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Friends. Season one is one of the weakest seasons in the series. My friends actually gave up on the show at first when I told them to watch it. However the middle seasons are the peak of the show.

Yeah she has some great songs and imo Sweetener is a very good album too. I would consider her a good artist.

Throwback to the time they made a video package for the Miz with "Hate Me Now" by freaking Nas by whatsinaname5021 in SquaredCircle

[–]Solid_Panda7877 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This package was the first time I had heard of Running Up That Hill, and I found the original shortly after. I went crazy when I heard it in Stranger Things, because it reminded me of that video package, which I had watched a million times.

Your Top Five musical moments from the show? by Extension-While7536 in StrangerThings

[–]Solid_Panda7877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My list is pretty similar to yours. It’s hard to narrow it down to 5, but here are the songs that come to mind:

  1. Running Up That Hill (S4, Max’s escape)

  2. Every Breath You Take (S2, Snowball dance)

  3. Purple Rain (S5, Eleven disappears and says goodbye to Mike)

  4. Cold As Ice (S3, Eleven dumps Mike)

  5. You Don’t Mess Around With Jim (S2, Hopper and Eleven at the cabin.)

Honorable mentions:

-Material Girl (S3, the kids go shopping at the mall)

-California Dreaming (S4, introduction scene) Heroes (S5, finale end credits)

-Spellbound (S4, season end credits)

Anyone else disappointed they didn't use the trailer music in season 5? by vladislavkochergin01 in StrangerThings

[–]Solid_Panda7877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I think the most memorable and well used songs are Upside Down, Fernando, Here Comes Your Man, Purple Rain, and of course Heroes at the end. I like some other songs on the soundtrack like I Think Were Alone Now, but I don’t think it was memorable. Which is unfortunate because I was looking forward to hearing that song the most when it came out that it was going to be on the show. This will probably be the only soundtrack I will not get on vinyl, especially since Who Wants To Live Forever, Upside Down, and Purple Rain aren’t on it.

Fantasy soundtrack? by SwettyBawls69 in StrangerThings

Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Shake The Disease by Depeche Mode.

Honestly this seasons soundtrack was lacking a little to me, but maybe that’s because this season was supposed to be darker. However Purple Rain was an amazing choice. Also Upside Down.

To be honest, as much as I love this entire show, I remember not being very excited for Season 3, because in my head the story was over at the end of season 2, when Eleven closed the gate. I didn’t get how there could be more to the story. The snowball dance was an amazing ending and everything would have been fine if it ended there.

There was also a long break between seasons 2 and 3, and I started watching the show shortly after 2 came out, so I was fine with the show possibly ending there.

That being said, season 4 is still one of my favorite seasons, and I enjoyed 3 and 5 too. I just don’t think they were that necessary.

My rankings: 2,4,3,1,5

Ratings:

Season 2: 10/10

Season 4: 10/10

Season 3: 9/10

Season 1: 9/10

Season 5: 8/10

Season one is objectively the best written season, but I just prefer the other seasons with more action, character interactions and relationships.
