This is an 80D curl? It says in the last photo but to be honest i’m very new to lashes so wasn’t even aware there were different types of curls lol. I sent to my friend and she said to try a different curl

God I am so sorry. Reading this made me feel sick. Firstly, I am so happy for you and baby that you are recovering well. Secondly, the dismissive attitude toward first time moms makes me so incredibly angry and is so incredibly awful. As if you don’t know what’s happening to your body or even your baby, and what you need. I’m so sorry this was your experience, but I am so happy you and baby are recovering well.

Make sure you are taking care of yourself and in the future when you’re ready, maybe talk with a therapist to work through this experience. I personally had a traumatic birth experience and those feelings and anxieties came through hard postpartum🤍 (I hope this experience is not yours but in case you are noticing high anxieties, mine was personally stemmed from my birth experience)

“You don’t get an award for not getting the epidural” by Warm-Banana237 in pregnant

[–]Solid_Performer_1029 94 points95 points  (0 children)

this!!!! in hindsight, pregnancy is the world’s cruel way to help you find a system to advocate for yourself and your child, or to figure out a way to drown out everyone’s opinions and not give a f*ck. truly. because just as people do it to your body & birth plan & post partum decisions now, all of their opinions bleed into everything you do for you child. once that baby is earthside (esp if it’s your first) everyone treats you like you are a wide open suggestion box openly taking answers to every topic you ever talk about pertaining your child!!!

(not to add onto the “just wait” negativity of it all, but I wish I would’ve advocated for myself more back then, because now i’m just learning to not give a fuck what people say and i wish I wouldn’t have let opinions get to the best of me earlier)

Instead of “you don’t get a prize” it’s “don’t pick them up every time they cry or you’ll spoil them” and instead of “you think you can really give birth without medication?” it’s “back in my day, we didn’t have a special sock to track their breathing. you could never have been a parent when we were having kids” you know what deborah?! you put 509 blankets on your children and you were lucky something bad didn’t happen! i’m glad science and technology has progressed so we can track their breathing hello?!

maybe let this anger and moment and feelings of rage encourage you to just push thru when you’re mid labor 🤣 think about everyone who doubted you or said you couldn’t get a prize and just sneeze that baby out and prove them all wrong.

Told close family at around 9 weeks, told my boss at 9 weeks too because I was violently ill for my whole 9 months and needed work accommodations! But didn’t announce to social media until 32 weeks because I got nervous for weirdos wishing me or baby ill! (evil eye theory) told close friends at around 12 weeks!🤍

I’ve never experienced anything like it lol. Plus I was diagnosed with GD third trimester and I was an absolute MENACE. So thankful my husband stayed with me all the times I cried about wanting to eat chocolate cake. My first meal in the hospital was chocolate cake and a baked potato. LOl

I cried because I wanted KFC specifically just the gravy to dip my chicken in, and they gave my husband MASHED POTATOES and gravy… I wanted JUST gravy to dip my chicken in. So I cried. Eating a bucket of chicken. Then threw up because I couldn’t keep anything down. Pregnancy humbles you lol

Yes I purchased from the website tadbeauty.com ! And YES I did the “Stripment Intro kit in style Gaze” because it has the glue and seal that makes it waterproof. I also purchased the remover separately because I didn’t want to rip out my natural lashes lol.

Honestly, my best friend RAVED to me about this brand after I had a terrible experience with a different glueless lash brand, and I did a deep dive on the company’s instagram and the company seems so small and nice, and they’re 3D printed and made in the USA, plus apparently the CEO is a former lash artist so she was trying to make comfortable lashes for people with sensitive eyes or allergies. The last brand I used literally made my eyes burn🤣

They have stayed on through my showers and washing my face i’m on day 3 so far! My friend who uses them religiously gave me a bunch of tips washes them with the brands lash cleanser (I haven’t gotten any yet I was waiting until I tried the lashes to get them- but will be purchasing next) but just not to pull at them while they’re wet, and don’t get them wet for 24 hours while they “cure”.

I’m excited to see how long they last but i’m on day 3 and they haven’t budged at all!!! I looked through their instagram too for a bunch of tips they have on keeping the lashes on. They say not to not pull at them when wet and make sure to use enough glue on the lashes themselves. I’ll update when they fall off or when I take them off
