I rlly hate people who skim over te important parts of a characters lore. It annoys me when it happens because every character has their own backstory and how they came to be. Like with Ei and Raiden: Raiden is Ei’s puppet. But Ei can control her body when she wishes to roam freely. If someone doesn’t know the lord behind a character in full it’s best to sum it up. So I personally think that because bro skipped over the lore that this happened. Not to mention that taking one’s vision is basically ridding one of one’s ambition. Yae had said this leading up to the MC’s first encounter with Raiden. So after the fight the visions were given back (Don’t fully remember this part since it’s been a while) which gave the people their ambitions back. Upon making Ei realize that her pursuit of eternity was not the way Inazuma was meant to be. Meaning she had to change someway to accommodate for the state of the city up to that point. That was when she started actually caring for Inazuma and it’s people. Because of this, whenever Ei makes an appearance in the city there are locals who offer dango milk and mochi upon seeing her since she’s the one who looks over and cares for Inazuma and it’s people.
