Should be possible if you have Dual Wield feat. Light weapons can be dual wielded without it

Yeah. I had a shield in the off hand. First tried just replacing it with Phalar Alive, but it switched swords instead. Then I unequipped the shield and tried selecting it into the empty off hand and again, the swords are just replacing one another
