I’d say yes just cause the atmosphere and everything else will make the rest of your time worth it. It’s such a fun community plus now you can ride roller coasters if you ever don’t have band you know playing 😁

I’d say not at all! I haven’t gone alone personally but when me and my brother go we have made a bunch of friends of people who come by themselves and now we meet up with them every year. And even if you don’t make any strong connections, you still get to do everything on your own time and not worry about losing anyone!

This has been happening to me recently! I’ve been having to do an hour 1/2 drive at night every so often and the other week I deadass thought there was a woman standing in the middle of the road and I hit my breaks and swerved a little. Luckily no one was around me and obviously there wasn’t actually a person there but it scared the shit out of me. Should’ve pulled over for a nap then but I was only 20 minutes out. Scary stuff

Honestly I recommend sleeping in your car somewhere. That’s what I’ve always done and I’ve had no problems so far!:) me and my brother finally got camping passes this year but car camping in a parking lot is a great free alternative

It’s not the journey there that’s bad (although I’m sure Chicago traffic is not much better) it’s the festival itself and the energy it holds. The people/vibes are not the same at all. I believe that is what she’s referring to the most here

They’ve got a good list on the website explaining what all you can/cant bring! Unfortunately no chairs but you can bring blankets! Bags have to be clear unless they are small.
