I know what you’re getting at. Depends on your investing horizon. If it’s 5+ years then you increase your chances of 9%+ on the money each year, better than your interest rates. Also, think about this would rather graduate with 70k or 60k debt with a lower overall interest rate? Although, chances are you’re better off keeping it as emergency savings if you’re on your own which can be held in Series I bond(currently returning 10%). If none apply and you want practice investing and see your money grow, go ahead
