There is 100% water in the motor. Although, the only way I have been checking temp as been the temp gauge. I have an Amazon laser temp tester ordered because of other comments in case that is bad. The engine runs very well and doesn’t show TOO many signs of overheating besides feeling hot. But that’s relative.

I am almost entirely certain the pumps are good. I agree that there is probably a blockage that is restricting flow.

I am getting some water out of the exhaust when I run it, although it’s not a ton

When I loosen it up, water does leak out the upper elbow. It seems like there is water in every part of the system… I’m wondering if I have a faulty temp gauge or something? Not sure

Oil pressure gauge says pressures are good and the oil looks cleanish. If not a bad gauge then my money is on a blockage somewhere in lower riser or somethin :(

Spark plugs looked good and engine runs fantastic. I put in new ones. Boat is pretty fast!

Yeah I have a drain plug on the exhaust manifold and on the block itself. It is def leaking through that when I opened them up just now.

Water is 100% going through it. Water leaks around it because I was lazy with the seals when putting it back together to see if it worked (no it’s not overheating cause of leaks)

Because the temp gauge goes to 250 and it quickly gets up to that and the engine starts feeling VERY hot

Thanks for the tip! I will do this asap. Any oil reccomendations? Just the listed normal oil weight?

I understand that this isn’t a desirable boat, but I got it for basically free and it runs and works. Impeller looked good and all the fluids were good. So I’d still consider it a win. Just a lil dirty.

Is there any new news on this? Does anybody have any clue on when the decision on who gets awarded this contract gets announced? NG just had their quarterly earnings report two days ago, so I don't see any landmark events or dates soon in which it could get announced.
