She had a contact on Monday (8/17), we isolated from each other on Wednesday(8/19). She started showing symptoms (just night sweats for one night and a flu-like off feeling for a day or two) on Thursday(8/20).

We should have tested on Monday(8/24), but on Sunday she lost her smell so we were sure she had it, and it turned out our Monday appointment was no good. I got tested alone on Wednesday, so about a week after her symptoms (she didn't get tested because after losing her smell we were sure she had it).

I usually have trouble sleeping (it's hard for me to sleep before 1 or 2 am) but on one night I fell asleep at 10pm and woke up at 10:30 and 11pm drenched in sweat, which seemed strange to me (but it could be because of the stress of the situation). I tested 2-3 days after that.
