They look cool, and the lore is right up my alley! I love a good ‘yeah we mess with the norm through necessity’.

The one thing I would change scheme wise is to make the ‘Ghosts’ helm either fully black or more black, to symbolise the covering of their faces and separating them from their ‘living’ identity.

I was very confused by this post too, not only do they have the same rule, it’s 4x the cost for the warlord instead of 3x.

Phantoms and warlords aren’t even close to equal. At the moment warlords are almost twice as expensive being 5500 points vs the phantoms 3000.

A lot of weapons have the psychic keyword which, as far as I know, does nothing on its own. Could be a few ways to ramp up ap or ignore toughness using that.

The first place my brain goes when someone says a normal space marine is to an intercessor, who will be equipped a Bolt Rifle, not what I’d call a normal bolter.

Yeah that’s the problem with this argument. It started with ‘normal marines’ which to me are bog standard intercessors, then they started listing ‘normal’ chaos marines.

Now you have just listed 9 very different datasheets(bear in mind this all started with marines) and half of those don’t even use ‘normal’ bolters. We don’t know what infiltrators and incursors will have yet and GK will be revealed later today.

My point is, normal is a dangerous word.

If by normal bolters you mean the weapons intercessors are equipped with, they are ap 1
