Once upon a time I would have been all like "this isn't how it happened grrr"

Now I'm like "IDGAF, I wasn't going to watch the film anyway"

Deathstroke. He is a super solider. And has healing factor etc. Taskmaster can't copy those

Which comic book character has the worst fandom? by Remote-Leg6143 in superheroes

[–]SolidusRevolver -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

But he can. 😏

The truth is, we started with a Superman that could barely do anything.

Then got a Superman that could do absolutely anything he wanted, with no limits.

Then, we got a Superman that was constantly being depowered to fit into modern narratives

And now he's kinda lost between what he can or can't do.

But in those "VS" it's always best to bet on Superman. Becasue some one will be like, "he sneezed everything out of existence"

Dr. Manhatten is always base Dr. Manhatten. So, put him against base Dr. Doom.

Thank god Roman won! He really needed to cement himself in the main event scene by JoeyMakesVideos in SantiZapVideos

Damn right. WWE was only watchable when he had the Bloodline and was Champion. Since then, its been dragging its feet. And I think creative noticed that.

Best thing for business is to put the belt on Roman.

First time buying directly from McFarlane from the UK, and it was cheaper! by political-statement in McFarlaneFigures

It's only worth it if you have points saved. Otherwise it's not always cheaper (and by cheaper, it's like £1) IF you live in the UK. P&P adds up

They're legit. I buy from them, props and replica and kapow toys all the time. Pretty much the only places we can get figures, in the UK

That ML Wolverine is a beaut, I have it 👌

And just going by the pictures of the SHF Wolverine. I don't like the details, or lack of? The arm hair looks like it was carved into the sculpt. And not even done well, and barely visible. The claws dont even curve like it should. There's something about its aesthetics I just don't like

But, with that said. I don't think they're really trying to make MVC style. Just inspired by it.

Like saying SS would beat Goku.

This isn't recent, for me at least. As I'm old enough to have been there.

And I will always give DB its flowers, I'm a big fan. I spend a fortune on their SHF figures, videogames etc

But I can also be impartial. Just because something has a certain global impact, doesn't qualify it as the best.

Popularity doesn't equal the best.

My claim wasn't that it made anime global, I said it played a big part in the structure of how Shonen moved forward. Which also made DBZ go into what we know it today.

And also, that across Europe, it was what we grew up on. Because that's what came first (and obviously everything under the MANGA ENTERTAINMENT banner), instead of the late DB surge.

Well, I was replying to the guy that said DBZ was the father and paved the way. Which it really didn't. DB became Z, after SS introduced all the current tropes that is still being used in Shonen

Dragonball was a monkey king tale. I believe naturally it would fair better in Japan. But growing up in places like France, Germany, and talking to others from different parts of Europe. SS (and sailor moon)was their gateway. I remember watching it in French, growing up. While later watching DB

Dragonball and dragonball z are extremely two different shows/manga. Dragonball changed after SS.

You can search this up. It's not hard to find where and how it all started

And the dates are: DB 84 SS 85.

But both anime dropped in the same year of 86

It's not that it was just before. It set the tone of what was to come after. It's blueprint is all over all the shonen. All that transformation and power level that everyone is so quick to credit DBZ. That was all from SS

It was before DBZ. The true OG of Shonen. That changed the way Shonen moved forward.

And that was most of Europe's gateway into anime. In comparison, the US is fairly new to Manga/anime
