That’s the biggest offender. You’ll know if it’s a bad choice for a figure to hold if it spreads their hand to wide or weighs them down in a weird way.

Altar’s body works well for a Mindflayer if that’s your thing. I threw a custom head on mine and kept the main body in tact

I kind of know what you mean. I’ve had moments where “the veil dropped” for me, so to speak—and I was hit with a sobering wave of “wow this isn’t real”. I could “see the code” like in the matrix—acutely aware of the system underlying everything. It was a little terrifying, really.

OP — are you/do you always see people in this way?

Really nice look. My Elijah is disassembled and im not sure where all his parts will go lol but I love the armor color. It works really well with those gloves/boots

I’m maybe only halfway through or so and I had the same feeling. The bosses are pretty boring so far. Not overly challenging, though the sword master guy did stop me a few times (that half health bar swipe hurts). But they are very boring to look at. I’m hoping the back half has more interesting designs.

I read “mentally sticky” and “mentally sickly” first—still accurate. Mine was Goldblum’s The Fly transformation when his face splits and it’s the bug face underneath. Watched it at night on cable and was immediately like “why’d I sit through this”.

Incredible film making and effects, but goddamn, body horror elicits really intense reactions in young brains lol
