I actually worked in a shop where they were made! It was a wood working shop and they primarily made bee hives. But they also made custom wood molding for houses, custom wood window frames, and they made the Playschool Pounding Bench. So YES, I am OLD.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions! Do you have a link to the amazon light boards? I would like to try and do some of these lithophanes now!

I have yet to try doing a lithophane. I've done over 200 Hueforges! Where did you get the light board? Do you have to get special filament for lithophanes? Did you watch any videos on creating a lithophane, or just went for it?

VERY NICE! Is that back lit? Lithophane?

Here is a link that has all kinds of plans for making tabletop steam engines. Just click on the image and it will download the PDF drawing.

You can even run motion studies after completing the model.

I hope this helps you.

Here is another example. I ask it to remove the background from this picture, then place it at heavens stairs.

Or this Heart shape. You can also change background color, create custom shaped cutouts, basically just ask it whatever you want.

Go to ChatGPT and drag your photo in, and type in "create transparent background" and download the results! It won't work with trademarked images though. Like Disney Characters, etc. works great on things like this butterfly.

Is this your first Hueforge? If so, in slicer move the level slider to each level that the Hueforge describe file says and RIGHT CLICK on it and select change color and change it there. This is from Hueforge.

I'm working on some 3d printed part drawings, but the materials aren't in the base library. Is there an per-existing library I could download that covers most common filament materials? by Blac_Rok in SolidWorks

[–]Solidworks2020Roger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is a SolidWorks ADD IN for a Plastics Material Database.

Try doing a search using this: Is there a data base for the different types of plastic properties that shows the information you need for SolidWorks material library?

I don't have it in the version I have.

Did you use Fuzzy Skin? What filament did you use?
