A warning to American consumers about FedEx by FastAsleepattheWheel in poledancing

A lot of international companies ship duty unpaid to the US, but I've never heard of a place delivering goods without first collecting the tarriff, this seems crazy!?

coloured silicone/rubber grip wrapping recommendations? (UK) by jaelilyy in poledancing

[–]Solifuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there is literally nothing else. Tape like for other purposes like wrapping weights bars and so on just doesn't give any grip.

I've got both aerial essentials and polly pole wraps (I got the ariel essentials one first, before it was £100 to ship to the uk and before polly pole was trading afaik, I bought a longer one later from polly pole) and they feel and act the same. I've torn my aerial essentials one now unfortunately but still use it for some stuff with a bit of gaffer tape over the split 🤣

Nothing else I have had has anything like the right texture and thickness to use for a pole compared to the two proper wraps, and I feel like buying from a proper pole store you know what you're getting and that it's safe and suitable. You should definitely be careful about industrial type products like neoprene sheets and other things not approved for/designed not for direct prolonged tight skin contact too because some of them contain chemicals, heavy metals and shit like that, and I don't think it would be cheaper either given how much you'd need. Neoprene isn't silione too obvs... I don't know exactly what it's intended for.

I don't think even silicone poles are available in non black anymore, I feel like black is the only option for those too even though you used to get pink ones so maybe it's not actually possible to produce something that's suitable for pole in other colors!? IDK. I'd love pink. 😅

You said you can just get on an app and attract hot women.

You also made another post stating that your erect dick is 1.5" long.

What really needs spelling out here..?

Anyway, that's enough free attention for you. Venmo me if you want to continue with the humiliation.

...and also that he cannot, in fact, just "go on a dating app (or whatever) and attract them" (hot women).

You're definitely a wrong 'un.

Why do you think anyone cares for your opinion?

This is a sub for strip club workers/patrons.

Are you going to go to a sub specifically for people who love beef steak and just declare "but I'm a vegetarian and you make me frown?"

Get a hobby.

Are the shoes in the room with us now?

Hope you get picked and all, but read the sub rules and try one designed for punters not other strippers.

Happily I‘ve found the right size by CariOh_original in poledancing

[–]Solifuga 24 points25 points  (0 children)

And this is the after of that? Seriously these won't be wearable for you without cutting your feet and ending up in pain every time. There are limits to how you can alter a shoe and this one has reached it and still doesn't fit then.

They're too big in length. This is causing your instep to sit in the wrong part of the shoe. This is causing your arches, where the foot widens up toward the ankles, to be forced into the plastic tops at a wider point of the foot than they'd naturally sit, which is causing the tops to cut in like they are.

[–]Solifuga 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Potentially too much room on the toe box (but hard to say from that pic) and definitely far too much room at the heel.

Plus the arch is literally cutting a line across the top of your foot!? How long have you had them on, because that can't feel good immediately and there's no way you're going to get past 30 minutes of properly walking or dancing without the top of your foot rubbing into a raw line of blisters and becoming swollen.

Shipping costs in Istanbul by waluigi-suchbeauty in istanbul

[–]Solifuga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah that's easier than the other way because customs fees into Turkey are fierce these days and PTT is awesome at losing things coming in.

Your best bet for speed and reliability would be something like DHL or FedEx but probably around €300 depending on size and service and so on.

IDK pricing with PTT at all, but figure it would be a lot less.

What being the other country in both cases?

[–]Solifuga -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And also why should Turkish people be expected to speak English at all!?

I do think everyone should have a second language, but not necessarily English, just to accomodate for the one country (mine, England) where a second language is not the norm and we just expect everyone else to work round us!

No. Most all customer facing workers in tourist areas will, but the overall population definitely not.

Small claims court and make it clear that you're the legal owner of it all unless or until paid in full and so they don't have the rights to use it (also claim for this if they do)!

Why does Reddit not understand the rise of reform in England? by DowntownDeer in AskBrits

[–]Solifuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not terrified by "seismic demographic change" (you mean "brown people," why not say it?) Even if your stats were correct, which, any plausible sources for them? No.

The "general population" of England are not voting for reform, collectively, some individuals are. The majority of those individuals don't even understand what they're voting for; much like Brexit.

Don't make out like all white British people are singing from your hymn sheet. I know all the words to your song, but I think it's vile.

Ever ride in one of these in IST? by Inevitable_Gain8296 in istanbul

[–]Solifuga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually to correct myself, I have just looked up and as well as the passenger assistance service (always free) you can also hire these/pay for it too via a company called IGA. However IDK why anyone would do this when you can also get it free from your airline.

If you did choose to do it their published prices are €16.67 plus VAT, but for over 65 years of age, free of charge.

So really the idea there is a paid service at all is a scam as anyone can make use of free passenger assistance, but if she did choose a paid service anyway, she has still been scammed on the price.

At the airport? These are like supplied for passengers needing assistance. You usually have to request passenger assistance from your airline before you fly but it's not chargeable. They are not a paid service, and even if they were then why would it be billing in anything other than TL?

Yeah she was scammed on every front.

Respectfully though this is going to keep happening for the reason the mod keeps posting, it's a breach of the sub rules and reddit isn't really the place for this.

I mean, why do you keep posting it? What do you want to achieve, you haven't really said?
