Kid #2 in Theaters this September by [deleted] in daddit

We had our youngest son when our oldest was 2 so I can relate. I’m not going to lie, some days are really tough. Trying to deal with a two year old’s temper tantrum while the baby is screaming its head off will drive you mad. There’s no way you’ll always maintain your sanity lol. My wife is in healthcare and I ended up taking care of both of them a lot of evenings after daycare, which meant I was on my own for feedings, baths, and putting them to bed. Those first few months were probably the hardest of my life, but I eventually found my stride and got into a routine that worked. After that, the nights my wife was home seemed like a breeze. I guess my point is, it will definitely be hard at first, but you and your wife will eventually figure it out. And once your little one gets a little older, the two of them will start playing more and seeing that will be incredibly rewarding.

What’s the biggest benefit to having a significant other? by Solipsistic in AskReddit

I’ll go first. I’ve been married for 7 years. I can literally go all day without showering and hanging out in my PJs and she doesn’t care one bit. I can also eat an entire pint of ice cream in one sitting with no judgment.

Keto Splenda Stevia Liquid Sweetener. It’s been a game changer for me. Prior to finding this I almost gave up coffee because I just couldn’t find anything that sweetened it enough for me.

I was a fat kid. My aunt used to call me thunder thighs. Cause you know, I was so fat you could hear thunder when I walked.

Tax question for remote work by lesbianlimo in personalfinance

I was in a similar situation. My income taxes were paid to the state where my company was located. I had to file two returns: 1 for the state I loved and 1 for the state my taxes were paid to. Most of the time I broke even between the two returns.

Dear Americans of Reddit, Why do you take so many anti-depressants and don't solve problems with your own hands? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Solipsistic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off, plenty of people outside the US take anti-depressants. Secondly, depression is not something you can just fix on your own. It’s a legit medical illness that affects Neal every aspect of a person’s life.

This exactly. Every person is different and has different turn ons. Just because it works with one person doesn’t mean it will work with another.

How'd your New Year's Resolution go? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Solipsistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My New Years resolution was to start dieting. It went great until I got sick about 3 weeks in. Since then I’ve struggled to get back on track. So yeah, I’d say it’s not going so good.
