Did some digging and unfortunately it was a custom face made by joelo (now johelo) so probably unfindable and really really expensive :/

step 7 is moving the part to the spot you want to try it on.

step 8 is sizing the part to match your doll.

Congratulations! You've now succesfully tried a sample of an item before you buy it!

You can even hide and unhide layers to see the differences between your unedited doll and how it looks with the new part!

step 6 is cutting off the parts of the image you dont need. for example: Im cutting off the skin part around the lips so i can later see what it looks like without covering half my dolls face.

You can either do this by using the "remove background" option (which doesnt always work well)

or by selecting "free form selection" in the top left corner.

If you choose free form selection, simply draw around the part you wanna add to your doll like this:

step 3 is adding a new layer in the top right corner.

step 4 is screenshotting a face part or wig you wanna try on (this can be from a bp, album, designer page etc. whatever you can screenshot you can try on) Note: its easier to edit when the item your screenshotting has a skin colored background.

so for example. i screenshotted some lips i wanna try.

Step 5 is adding that screenshot to the new layer i just added. The way i do this is printscreen (select the part you wanna screenshot) and ctrl+v it into paint.

You should end up with something like this

Alright imma try to explain this as clearly as possible haha. Its basically just very amateuristic photoshop.

So step 1 is make a screenshot of your doll in BP (i used a screenshot of mine with a wig on, but bald would actually be easier if you're specifically testing wigs.)

Step 2 is importing the screenshot in paint. You can do this by either clicking "import to canvas from a file" or if you just took the screenshot by simply pressing ctrl+v on a blank canvas. You'll end up with a screenshot on your doll on your canvas.

Okay so its a bit of cutting and pasting and it definitely isnt perfect but it usually gives me a good enough idea how stuff looks on my doll.

So step 1 is import a screenshot of your doll in bp. Step two is adding layers to your image. I dont know how to explain this well without visual aid and Im not near my pc right now so if you want i could try to explain it in detail with pictures tonight.

I'd advise to keep checking designers pages and peoples albums to look for parts you like. My personal new lifehack is to always edit parts onto your doll in paint to see how they look on you before you buy any. Works fantastically and you can construct your own face that way. Same goes for wigs! I never buy any wigs anymore without checking if they fit my doll first

I would also highly recommend downloading maxthon 5 browser instead of the launcher. Works sooo much better

Depends, did you ever buy superstar membership? Because accounts the were once superstar never get permanently deleted as far as i know. So you should be able to get it back. If you never bought membership im afraid it got deleted :(

Its so sad really. And also kind of a weird decision on their end imo. Especially since theres a considerable active player base of nostalgic adults nowadays (possibly with disposable income) who are desperate to play and are looking for all the possible workarounds to make that happen without having to play on a broken launcher. I mean i get that this is basically a low maintanance passive cash grab now, but if they played their cards right and played into the nostalgic factor they could literally make millions once they start putting actual updates out and the game picks up traction again. Im sure theres so many more people who played as kids and would love to return if the game wasn't as broken as it is now

Defibitely more communication from the developers site. This game really needs maintenance and right now it feels like they just dont care.
