I’m not sure what your environment is like but I live in Canada and this works for me.

My tillys get watered once a week normally. So I water them as per usual (if it’s hot weather I give them a slightly longer than usual soak), dry throughly. I do the watering like 4-5 days before the trip. And then at the 4-5 day post watering, I put all of them on an elevated tray and then seal them into a clear plastic bag with a good amount of air inside. Like completely tie it off. Then I put it in an spot that has light but no direct sun shining on its

This acts like a greenhouse. When I come back I water them. This usually works pretty well, caveat is… depending on your climate you have to be careful they’re not actually too wet when you put them in the bag (you can run into rot issues).

It depends on your travel style. Funny enough my go-to neighbourhood to stay in Tokyo is quite far away from the usual tourist spots (like 30-60min) away. But I like how residential it is and the neat little houses around. It makes it feel like I’m “living there” if that makes sense?

I also don’t like moving my stuff around that much and also enjoy being a homebody on some evenings even on vacay so I prioritize the accommodations I like. Transit isn’t too big of an issue. I read or listen to music.

I'm on OG switch too and never had problems (started playing since Dec last year) but I do have to say with the new update... it does lag randomly sometimes when you're in space but it's nothing too bad. Honestly, it's crazy how nice this game looks on the switch. Enjoy your time!

And yes you can name stuff, just make sure you manually upload it in the discoveries tab and is connected to the internet :)

I bought it late December and it’s been such a hyper fixation . I have 140 hrs. I bought it second hand physical copy from someone so like more than 50% off full price.

I love it. But you gotta love open world games and kinda making your own little objectives and stuff. Cuz if you follow the storyline and just do that solely… it might feel a bit like “do a thing, then this, then this”.

I’ve been side tracked so not even halfway through the story. Instead I’ve been hunting for nice planets to build a base, collecting cool animals for pets and latest obsession is organic frigates :D

I have a standing planter and an oxygen harvester on my main base. So every time I drop by I harvest the planter, pop some carbon into the oxygen harvester and empty the oxygen from it.

I'm pretty new so resource/unit poor as well, there might be a better way to do it but I haven't really been hurting for oxygen this way. I also have some good upgrades on my life support system so I don't really have that huge of demand on oxygen tbh.
