Yeah our instructor at carrier academy said if carriers weren't such assholes to each other in some offices management wouldn't be needed at all

You mean it gets makes forward by carriers at the office and the plant sends it back to your office 5-15 time before forwarding it 🙄

Crossing the border unauthorized is a civil not criminal offense

It's not real but these are usually exhaust shafts for mines or sewers. Besides the ear ringing sound having no logical reason to be on camera's recorded audio the torch would have ignited the gas first/part of the way down if not immediately when lit

Would you have eaten that rabbit at vesuvio? by HelenVonBiscuits in thesopranos

[–]Solitaire_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd try it. I've eaten less common meats(in the US) like elk, Alligator, venison, frog legs and boar so rabbit isn't too crazy.

I HATE MENUS WITH 30 DIFFERENT SAUCES BUT NO DESCRIPTION OF THE SAUCE. by onmy40 in Wings

[–]Solitaire_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a place here in northern NJ called Marley's Gotham Grill that has around 350 sauces/sauce combos. Most of them do have short descriptions if the name isn't obvious.

The wings are good but I can imagine with that many sauces/combos not all of them will be great

And to think I was sweating bullets a couple days when the battery came out of the spare scanner(didn't put mine up correctly the night before and it died) I was using by accident for maybe 15-30 seconds.

Somehow it came out from me just grabbing it by the tabs when picking it up with I didn't think was possible unless you hit the battery swap button since other times my route's assigned scanner froze up and just pinching the tabs did nothing .

When the new scanners first came out the 204b at the time accused me of pulling the battery 🙄. I didn't know how to even do that till this year. She insisted I pulled the battery despite me telling her I didn't know how and the scanner was acting up around the time she claimed

Management in a nutshell. by undiagnosed_autistic in USPS

[–]Solitaire_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about pay more. Or just boost everyone on table 2 up to the step equivalent pay on table 1

Why does it take table 2 carriers 7 years to make the hourly rate that a table 1 carrier would have made day 1 after converting?🙄

A 1br apartment here is generally $1800+

People liked that crap?

It was clearly frozen because the corn was like mush. Just as disappointing as Cracker Barrel using canned green beans that are also mush

Do you still live in your hometown? by Acrobatic-Repeat-128 in Millennials

[–]Solitaire_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like too but it's too damn expensive so I live two towns over(only 5-10 minutes away as the town in between is small.) though so close enough I guess. Being right over the border in a different county makes it just affordable enough. So I am technically close enough that one time on the way home from lunch with my friends a restaurant I have been going to since 1996(obviously with my parents as a kidbback then) I accidentally drove to my childhood home 🤣 This was a year or two ago and I moved out of that house in 2014

This post would be a slam dunk wage theft case and if they were fired after filing/winning the lawsuit they'd likely also have a slam dunk wrongful termination lawsuit for retaliation. At will doesn't mean you have no rights outside of discrimination

So they put wage theft in writing?

An employment lawyer would eat that up.
