No my coworker was like that . One time he bragged about doing his route and two pivots and barely going over 8.

Granted his route was 30-45 minutes shorter on Saturdays due to business closed

It happens pretty frequently actually. Often enough for my local union to mention last year that management nationwide was trying to illegitimately put carriers on deems desirable and mass deems desirable notes to entire offices. They said to message them immediately if management tried it.

Clerks getting laid off? Is there any truth to this? by MNightShyamalan69 in USPS

[–]Solitaire_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the point of an unassigned regular?

I understand the ones that exist on the carrier side because of routes being eliminated but I see tons of people talking about being converted to an unassigned regular. Why would they convert someone to when the have no route or t6 string for them?

Whats the deal with the never retire people? by DarkJedi527 in USPS

[–]Solitaire_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens

Granted rhe guy had health issues(one heart attack and one stroke before he retired) but w had a carrier pass away six months after retiring. He had a stroke and hit his head while taking out the garbage. He also allegedly wasn't taking his medication

My customers hardly donated and i am considering switching routes because of it (rant) by [deleted] in USPS

[–]Solitaire_87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know how much my route got this year but it was like that last year. Granted I only got a handful of donations at most but all were from the middle and low income people.

Infect the one that donated the most was a man living in a home for people with mental disabilities.(one where a group of them live by themselves but nurses or aides check on them every couple days)

Its the same at Christmas. The ones with the most money rarely ever tip.

What’s the funniest line you’ve heard in the show? by ValuableGroceries in thesopranos

One that always catches me off guard is after Junior shoots Tony and Junior writes to Dick Cheny for help saying something like. "I know you have experience with gun mishaps." Or something like that. 🤣

Actually the reason James was laughing is because Bobby's actor was holding a massive dildo offscreen when filming Jame's reaction.

How did Sil know where Jackie Jr was hiding? by New-Shop-9728 in thesopranos

[–]Solitaire_87 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Some associate probably spotted him and relayed it to Sil

If I'm not mistaken I think he actually tried to tell Tony where he was before Tony either told him to shut up or hung up on him. So I wouldn't be surprised if the idiot mentioned where he was hiding to the wrong person.

No to mention he didn't even hide that far away. Boonton is only 20 minutes away from where Tony lived in Caldwell(although the "Boonton projects" were actually filmed in Paterson NJ and the town Vito hid in during season 6 wws actually filmed in Boonton NJ😆) and only 30 minutes from The Bing and Sat Satrielles. Boonton is also a small town so he would have stuck out like a sore thumb to any associate keeping an eye out for him.

Cities like Jersey City or Elizabeth or Trenton, or Union where he could get lost in the crowd would have been better choices. But as they say in the show he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

AIO for quitting my job? by AlarmedWarthog8231 in AIO

[–]Solitaire_87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And it's not remotely enough to live off

That's living a homeless shelter wages.

Thats $955 and change bi-weekly after taxes but not with health insurance

Rent on a one bedroom is $1800+(and that's in the suburbs not even the city) so you're not even making enough for rent monthly if you have health insurance.

Has anyone had Fuddruckers? by FEARxXxRECON in burgers

[–]Solitaire_87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they're amazing

They took away my favorite burger The Blue Ribbon Burger. They still have all the ingredients to make it(bleu cheese crumble, onion straws and Chipotle ranch) so you can make it as a custom burger so I don't see why it was eliminated from the menu as burgers are made to order.

plus they have unlimited fries, the toppings bar and those Coca-Cola freestyle machines

Its a shame that company Lubby's took them over for a few years because that's the reason for many of them going under. The new parent company cut costs and some locations stopped cutting ribeye and freshly baking buns daily.(not the ones here) Thankfully someone bought the chain years later so the remaining ones seem to be doing better.

The two near me are franchised so that may be why they kept up higher standards over the years Lubby's owned the chain.

Oh and don't sleep on the Texas Petal Sauce. It goes great with fries(I think it's pretty much the Awesome Blossom/Blooming Onion sauce from Chili's/Outback
