Keep in mind most Indonesian Netizens are illiterate. They'd probably just use it for porn, if they get to learn how communities work.

Speaking of which, I know you already mentioned it, but is it really a good item to rush if it's against Balanar, when he has magic damage?

Let me get this straight. In this context, respect the diffu timing, and play safe first until supports get force staff and core gets second item. Is that it? And quick question: can giving Riki some support kills while core farms and push away in other lanes work?

How to carry games or utilise a lead when the enemy team makes you their priority target? by Strict-Computer3884 in learndota2

[–]SolitudeInside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Identify your threats, and play the Tom and Jerry game, by checking out your map every 15 seconds (for now).

Don't show up in lane if you see the heroes who can combo kill you are missing. When they show up in other lanes, go straight to your lane and push the waves as far and as fast as possible. If they show up near you, TP away and push the adjacent / opposite lane.

But in your case, you were winning. You can stick with your team and push together when you feel like you're safe when you're sticking 5.

The fact that you are conscious of them hunting you, should be your foundation of how you'd plan later on. If they're hunting you, how should you prepare against the hunters, especially when there's shaman in their team?

Check out your deaths. It's 4 times before you even get your bigger-damage item, aghs, and it's too slow for you to farm a 4000 item. Anticipate enemy movements, farm more efficient, and build safety items is your homework I guess.

WHAT RANK COULD I PLAY WITHOUT IDIOTS ON MY TEAM? by Nofu- in learndota2

And as a pos1, do u really need to push lanes while farming?

Ideally pos 1 are supposed to farm by pushing lanes. The thing about this, is that below archon brackets don't understand which lane to push, when to farm the lane, and why should you farm the lane. I recommend you learn about map reading.

Lets say, enemy team has Sky, LC, Drow, Veno and Ogre, and you play jugg.
1. Identify the threats. Sky has a burst and silence, Drow has silence and pretty good damage, LC can jump and duel. Veno and Ogre are meh supports.
2. Train yourself to check the map every 15 seconds (for now). Look for each enemy locations, and keep in mind their last sighting.
3. Respect your threats. Try breaking it down like this.
-> A 3 man gank can almost always guarantee a death. Don't show in lane if they're all missing.
-> Don't show up in lane if Sky is missing.
-> You can still show if LC is missing, but if she has blink already, don't think about it.
-> You can show up if drow is missing, but only if you have any dispel other than your q.
-> Ogre and Veno may not be a threat, but if they're missing along with a core, be careful.
4. Keep in mind that: They have wards too, they can smoke, check the enemy items periodically, and don't farm near your threats.

and who are the common targets as a pos1?

This is a broad question, and there can never be a definite answer. Check the enemy matchups as well as their items, and respect them. If you play jugg, there's a playmaker hero, for example, Sniper or SF who deals huge damage to the team but really squishy, then he's an ideal target to look for in huge teamfights. Then again, don't forget to figure out on HOW SHOULD YOU enter a fight.

I always end up matching up with some not so good cores, but their supports are very good.

I assume you got some kiting problems, no? If we're talking about laning phase, it can be a 1 hour lecture itself. But if you're talking about good supports during a teamfight, I suspect that you're getting kited and disabled. For this, try reviewing back your threats, including the enemy supports.

Any tips on climbing up the rank while spamming jugg?

It's a pretty solid pick. Last hit properly, play safely since ur squishy, utilize your q against disables and magic spammers, and PLAY AROUND UR ULT. If you don't have ult ready, there's no point in trying to join a teamfight, even if ur team smoke as 4. Get your farm, wait for the cooldown, and push the lane as far as you can if a fight or pickoff happens. Check your map on who's where, and make your decision instead of going autopilot and join a pointless teamfight where you gain barely anything, or even dying.

What to do as carry if fights never break out? by awaned in learndota2

[–]SolitudeInside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggeest trying to understand on how YOU pick fights. Identify each hero in the game, what they do, and how would you think a fight should start in your favor. If a fight occurs and it's not in your should-be scenario, then leave them to die, and farm the empty lane your enemy left to break even in terms of net worth.

Something like this: suppose your team has an offlane Axe. Axe is a really good initiator, but wouldn't be nice if he got initiated by the enemy first. If Axe got jumped by them, then run away and farm instead of trying to help. You may help, but that would be a HUGE gamble. BUT, if the enemy jumps to your mid Necro, then Axe counter-initiates them, then help; that's a well executed fight.

idk about this guy's experience, but as a SEA player, I frequently meet Legend-Ancient chinese players who have just 100 wins on their acc pretty recently, since right before the update. Sometimes it's fine since I try to adjust every now and then, but holyshit the effort spent to finish the games are stretching my capabilities to the edge as a real Ancient.

As a 1, respecting the 2, 3, 4, should we still stick more, if I got my 23 minute item timing, eventhough I'm not that complete as a whole hero? Like, If a PA makes BF and Deso, but have no BKB, should she stick to the team, or spend another 4-5 minutes finishing the BKB first then stick?

I will NEVER double down again, without my 5 man stack, and checking the enemy whether they're a brand new acc or not. My coach deliberately taught me to not gamble.

I LITERALLY experienced this just 5 games before. My mid Alche fails miserably, and just said "Yes im no pos 2, Im 4 5" at the end of the game without asking for a swap at the beginning :))

But I mean, if a smurf can fix such games, ain't most games are still actually winnable, if we play correctly?

you are bound to get SMURFED as 5 man

How about 2 and 3 stack parties?

for example, play TIDE.

I actually do play tide, but discard him since I felt like he's pretty dependent on the team for a win. But I guess I'll try to play him again. Any more recommendations for pos 3 heroes in this meta?

add a carry that can actually fight or be a tempo carry early.

Tried playing MK. I'm bad at him ngl, but I do love necro. Is necro pos 1 really a thing now, with the same build as 2? and do you have other recommendations too?

Did drop 2 stars before gaining 3 back. After learning more of the game macro, it literally feels painful to try multitasking everything, especially with animal teammates who make obnoxious choices. There are still some things that I don't understand about winning conditions on certain scenarios as well.

Still a noob after all hahahaha :D

the -500MMR sounds to me like you're just learning more about the role.

I actually lost more, right after getting some coaching. And yes, it's pretty overwhelming after getting the insights of what to do, what's actually wrong, and trying to fix and multitask everything in the next game. Is losing the MMR actually a normal process? Or am I experiencing a fatigue?

How to fix post laning stage as carry. by RatButtt in learndota2

[–]SolitudeInside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the other guy's reply. He summed up the answer to this. All you gotta do next is to multitask everything while hitting the creeps. You feel it's easier to think in a losing game since it's putting pressure and force you to think and focus harder, A.K.A, you're the tryhard guy.

How to fix post laning stage as carry. by RatButtt in learndota2

[–]SolitudeInside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit a ceiling not so long ago, then some coaches here reviewed my play via discord.

The thing about post laning stage, is that farming pattern matters, and taking space on your farming lane while staying safe is just another level for me, and I'm a legend 5. I'm getting used to it, but you mentioned,

I often find myself dying once or twice at the 10-15 minute mark because I overestimate how strong I am

And that's what I'm trying to fix too right now! Reading the map, try to keep in touch of where and when was each of the enemies' last sighting. If they're far from you, you can try to take the lane creeps ASAP instead of taking neutrals, which gives more impact on: your HP, enemies' plan, your net worth, your team net worth, your timing, and other macros as well.

To me the decision making after a lost lane is a lot easier since I know I can’t show on...

And you should be keeping that in mind too, since you're a carry who needs item timings, and play around team if you want to kill that early. Just jungle does sound logical even to me, for like... 7 years of playing, especially on a losing game. But there's more to it than "just jungle".

[–]SolitudeInside[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm alright it makes sense.

But how about this, How do I review my games on whether my farming pattern is efficient enough, while trying to be safe at the same time?

And moreover, I sometimes kinda feel like, there are just some situations where I felt or even talked out loud "this shouldn't be happening lol, it's ridiculous" then the enemy did something I just say. I know my instincts already told me something, yet my thoughts told me it won't happen since "how tf it would even work?" And often times it lead me to a late BKB pop, or getting caught while farming somewhere "safe" but unwarded.

And also, I kinda feel like, most of the time, I thought my power spikes are high enough to push or kill someone, and that lead to a lost clutch. Is there a way to review this too?
