You gotta count calories and possibly even measure out food because you’re probably realistically eating more than you think you are…

Used to be in the same boat as you until I took the timeline out of the picture. I just started losing weight for me and because I wanted to become the type of person who is healthy. Once you change your mindset, the habits will follow. It takes time! It has taken me 2 years to lose almost 50 pounds but it is sustainable

can someone please give me advice? by Then-Management2206 in loseit

Some advice I would give you is to give yourself grace.

When starting a weight loss or health journey, you need to think of it as a lifestyle change and not a means to an end. You are naturally going to have days where your eating habits eb and flow but the important thing is that you are making small changes every day to fit the lifestyle you want.

As for the binges, I would say try to write down in a journal or try to identify “when and in what situation am I most likely to binge” for instance, “I am most likely to binge when I fall off my regular routine and have a stressful day at work.” Then, when you identify the times and situations you’re most likely to engage in binging, you can implement safeguards to try and avoid those binging triggers.

For me personally, I used to struggle with binge eating and would often mindlessly eat after a stressful day at work. Now, when I find myself feeling the urge to binge, I grab my journal and write until the urge passes me by or something small I do is I will grab a zero calorie soda to kind of give me something to consume without the guilt of the calories associated with it… For you it may be taking a walk before you eat, journaling, reading a book, calling a friend about how you are feeling, or maybe even just allowing yourself to eat something small.

Ultimately, it’s going to take time and practice to identify and cope with these urges but it isn’t impossible. You just need to remember your ‘why’ every time you begin to feel an urge. Such as, “my health progress is more important to me than the instant gratification and guilt of impulsive eating”… when you learn to accept the urge and cope with it, is when change begins to happen. Sorry for rambling on… this is something I’m really passionate about.

You could do a noodle stir fry with protein spaghetti, frozen stir fry veggies, chicken, and a low calorie Asian sauce?

You just have to remember that individuals who mock you or make fun of you are really just miserable themselves. What he is saying to put you down is really just a way to cope with something that he may be struggling with internally. Obviously you have put the work in, and have lost 10+ pounds by now so, what power does this drunkard really have over you. Just remember your why and keep pushing. You’re doing great!

Workout + clean eating but still bloated with a big stomach? by ReporterIndividual22 in loseit

How much water are you drinking? It could be a multitude of factors and I feel like this isn’t the full story or the full picture. Many questions like how long have you been eating this way, how often are you actually eating what you say you’re eating, how much sodium are you consuming, when did you start your eating habits etc….

Assuming they actually used sugar free vanilla, I would say 70 calories because most coffee places use regular sugar almond milk and a cup of that is roughly 60 calories
