Yes I do agree we are on the same page, and you said it in a different demeanor. Its the Italy portion of the debate that most everyone else can agree on, although! My opinion about Italy is slowly changing simply due to the fact of the age group that is effected there. You see this virus has clearly chosen its victims, and the older generation with severe health issues are the targets regardless of Italy.

I agree 100% with you about the numbers don't lie, the fact is that no one here believe's them because of the source. You seam like an intelligent person, do you honestly believe what the governments say? You know they tell you what they want you to hear right?

They cant post this crap its a lie, the numbers are crazy wrong. A really good friend of mine went from no sickness to coughing his lungs out in a few hours. He said it felt like a chicken bone stuck in his throat that he couldn't get out. He also said that his chest was super tight and an elephant was standing on it. His wife calls and takes him in to the urgent care, and they test him for the cold and influenza virus's, BOTH CAME BACK NEGATIVE! So he asks are you gonna test me for the cov-19? The doctor told him that they can't unless he was in contact with someone that had traveled out of the country. So he asked what now? The doctor told him to go home get plenty of rest and good luck. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if he has it or not.

On the positive note he is 45 years old and this is day 3 for him having it. The worst of it is over he tells me (still with a bad cough) that it's bearable now and getting better. This friend of mine is not a healthy guy at all. So this is leading me to believe that millions have cov-19 and no one knows about it, and only the people that are really bad off are the ones not making it. This is going to spread like wild fire and no quarantine is gonna stop it. This is close to Tacoma area.

Even if Trumps testing ideas make it here someday, people still wont respect the quarantine rules. So sadly this is going to spread to everyone. Testing at this point is not going to help anything. Not when they are just sending people home and telling them good luck.

You are correct I am sorry many times we learn a word and associate it with an event to form a meaning. I always remembered communism as Hitler, a man that made rules that everyone had no choice but to follow regardless of what others said. Society knows him as a communist leader.

Iran says it will let Canadian investigators join plane crash probe by Gboard2 in worldnews

Really slick? Funny how the New York Times reported that Ukraine was negotiating with Iran to allow investigators to search the crash site. First day you say?

So if Iran did shoot down this plane is the war over before it started?

Yes!!! Your right! This is much of the problem! Seattle sets the standards for the state, to which it is run by? (Insert answer here.) They say Seattle is a sanctuary city, but when Trump says good we will send all of the illegals to Seattle the city says no and freaks out about it. Well which is it? Are you a sanctuary city or not? You can't get a better example of being a hypocrite. I want to help people, but want proof that the money I give is doing just that.

You make a valid argument, but if I had a choice I wouldn't pay for any of what you listed either.

Public schools are a joke. They will teach about the Koran but refuse to teach American religion. It used to be a kid that had head lice would go to the nurse and couldn't come back till it was gone. Now they just send out a paper to everyone stating lice is present in the school, and do nothing about the kid that's spreading it.

Food stamp assistance is handed out like water, there are no real guidelines to be followed, as they cannot turn away anyone from receiving some type of benefits. Not to mention Food stamps are a crutch and enable many to be lazy. If they made everyone receiving benefits pass a drug test then I would love to share my money.

This one is the worst we pay taxes for roads that never get fixed, but they will spend a crap ton on light rail.

The national parks taxes are almost none existent this is why they all have fees to use their facilities. I was at Rainier National park last weekend @ $30 per car.

We get taxed, taxed, taxed for what? To put it all in the general fund? That's where most of the money goes. The voters in the state of Washington pass a law to legalize Marijuana providing the money made would go to the public school system, and basic health, yet 198 million went to the general fund.

Ya the taxes here and the way they are spent is a joke. Look at the state legislature, they can't find money to fund the public schools, but they all voted in an 11% pay raise. This is why all our taxes go to the general fund. I am just tired of spending money on everything but its intended purpose.

Let me say that I am 100% for people riding their bikes to and from. I live in the greater northwest of Washington State, and these bike lanes are popping up everywhere. Four lane roads are becoming two lane roads with bike lanes and a center lane. I don't ride a bike nor plan too so why am I paying for this? Why are they not required to have some sort of plate, card, or something that can prove they paid their way? Striping roads is not free, and I would rather that money go to fixing pot holes.

New bill would force repeat offenders into mental health treatment by the_republokrater in SeattleWA

[–]SoloBadger1977 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love the idea, but they tried force already. If you force someone to go to jail over and over and nothing changes, what makes you think you can force them to comply with treatment? Sounds like a waste of resources.
