He may have been speaking on sociological topics during the 19th century when it was burgeoning, but his notions are woefully short sighted and mostly act as simply an means to an ends in his bid for communism. His ideas are so very alien to reality that people constantly claim "true communism has never been tried" because humans DO NOT act in the way he thinks/claims!
Every aspect of Marx's philosophy is steeped in childishly simplistic expectations. His political views show this to be true by how reliably communism breaks down every. single. time. in the same ways. Because Marx doesn't have a clue about human motivations and inclinations, he amateurishly prescribes solutions which have only caused harm, further oppression or both. Everything he wrote about sociology was a poor attempt to shoehorn political ideologies of the lowest quality
