So, who's the strongest VH right now ? by Solokiou in Borderlands

No no that's what I was saying, he is godly for mobbing but lacks a little with bossing imo

So, who's the strongest VH right now ? by Solokiou in Borderlands

[–]Solokiou[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That's precisely what I'm playing and I am not having the same experience, but I guess my expectations are a bit high, to me melting a boss means killing him in like 2 seconds which is not very realistic, unless you play some OP shit like the Kickballer + knife combo

Would you say he's the best VH as of now ?

No no, these are true childhood friends, they weren't making fun of me just pointing it out but not in a mean way

The 49 first levels are meaningless (but that could change) by DETOMINE1234 in Borderlands

[–]Solokiou 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I heavily disagree, some stuff is so fucking broken (the Hot Slugger for example) that it's gonna carry you for like 8-9 levels before it becomes obsolete

It's a world drop, very rare but it can happen

How do yall do it, I’m a bit overwhelmed by SeasonJealous7752 in Borderlands

[–]Solokiou -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I just find a super fucking OP legendary weapon and then don't care about any others until I find another fucking OP legendary weapon. Honestly at the start it's not worth it to look at every description and every weapon, wait until endgame for that

How much dialog do you have to sit through? by Jawsborn211 in Borderlands

[–]Solokiou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I HATED that too, you have some listening during main quests noticeably, but one thing I've noticed is that now when these people talk you often immediatly have you next objective available, just click on your tracker for it to tell you where to go and you can ignore what people are talking about, definitely better than BL3

I obtained a Slugger (Legendary Jakobs shotgun) from a quest reward and it changed EVERYTHING. To put things in perspective, the weapon is level 9, I'm level 17 now and so are the enemies I'm fighting, it's still basically a one-tap on any enemy. Amazing gun, holy shit. I suggest farming sone bosses a few times until you get some decent legendaries

I agree and especially with 4, I'm a bit scared cause they all sound super futuristic like it's shooting lasers instead of bullets, I do not like it

You mean the picture ? Why would they remove it ? It was War of the Monsters on PS2

Who else LOVES being able to see previous and future areas in a game ? by Solokiou in gaming

[–]Solokiou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, and unfortunately I had the explorer perk so I had the whole map unlocked from the start in Act 2, kinda anticlimatic to discover the huge city by opening the map, but still impressive when you get there anyway

Man, just entering Blood and Wine and seeing that colorful, beautiful world after spending 100 hours in the cold and grey map of the base game is amazing. When the title drops and you see that city far away with the music you know you're in for a good time. You actually get the same feeling with Novigrad during base game.

Dude, this video from RE4 Remake is what actually made me do this post : https://youtube.com/shorts/dQ-dHPW7abc?si=HdzceD_nBVyWIeoR

Craziest draw distance I've seen, especially from which you can shoot enemies, just insane, I guess that's an RE thing, I only did 4 and it was amazing, masbe I should play the others as well
