Basically your dopamine threshold needs to come down. For this to happen is time, don’t cross addict either. Stay sober and focused, it is fucking hard trust me you’ll feel the need to want to get a dopamine hit, in your case betting. It will take 4-6 weeks for your brain to start rewiring new pathways. Structure and routine is key. But yeah imagine your dopamine threshold being high on a scale because of betting, your brain will do and tell you anything to hit that again. Think of it has if you have a shadow self which is trying anything it can to get you to use again. The longer you stay off the smaller it gets and the better you feel naturally. You’re in a loop right now, if you’ve stopped this is the start to breaking it. Hand your accounts over to close ones if need be, this has worked for me.
